A headblock is pressed against a mold tool wherein a hemispherical protrusion of the headblock compresses a slug within a first hemispherical cavity to form a first half shell outer core component. An inner core sphere is placed within the first half shell outer core component. An upper section of the mold tool is assembled onto a lower section of the mold tool to place a second half shell outer core component within an upper hemispherical cavity over the inner core sphere within the first hemispherical cavity to form a dual core component for a golf ball.

The method is process for producing a melamine container that has inner and outer appliques performed with a single mold in a single processing machine. The adhesion force is used, together with glitter powders (resin based glitter powders of melamine) adjusted for a different curing time, in such a way that the properties of the two materials, together with producing condition realized through adjusting a hydraulically operated processing machine, allow for production of a melamine container having inner and outer surfaces of applique with a single set of mold.

摘要： A method is provided for molding a composite part defined by using a preform comprising a shape memory polymer (SMP) binder. A bound preform comprising the SMP binder in a permanent shape and defined by a simplified geometry provided to a mold. The bound preform is heated above a transformation temperature of the SMP binder and deformed into a shaped preform defined by the temporary shape of the SMP binder. In a molding sequence, the shaped preform is constrained in its temporary shape by the mold while resin is introduced to the mold and cured to produce a final part. The shape of the cured part defines the temporary shape of the SMP binder. The bound preform may be generally configured as a mat or be defined by a substantially flat surface such that the preform may be used as a preform to mold a variety of differing part configurations.
