Conveying means (TC) guide the assembled packs (P5 P1, P2) such that the face of each assembled pack (P1, P2) having the strap attached thereto abuts a face of another of the assembled packs such that the strap (S) is sandwiched between the abutting faces. Fixing means, which fix the strap (S) about adjacent packs such that the packs (P1, P2) are joined together and are movable relative to each other by rotation about one or more edges.

摘要： A one-piece box blank is cut from a single sheet with creases and score lines dividing the box blank into a receptacle section, a hinge section and a cover section. The cover and receptacle sections both have side and front flaps. The front flaps and hinge section are proportioned such that the receptacle front flap is not totally overlapped by the cover front flap when the box is closed. The depth of the receptacle side flaps adjacent the hinge section is less than the depth of the hinge section. The spaced, scored fold lines separating the side flaps from the cover and the receptacle sections are straight lines, converging from the front flap of the cover to the front flap of the receptacle. If the box is wrapped corner notches are preferably cut in both the one-piece box blank and in a one-piece wrap. The wrap and the blank are combined as they pass through a conventional wrapping machine. When the wrap and box blank are in tray configuration in the wrapping machine, the hinge cuts are incised in either the wrap or in both the wrap and the box blank by added machine components. In the closed box the partially exposed receptacle front flap affords an overlying cover flap edge for opening the box.

摘要： The invention comprises a box in which educational blocks, puzzles, artist material or the like, may be packaged. The box is formed of two nearly symmetrical open halves folded along a center score line in the flat blank from which the box halves are formed. Additional score lines parallel to the fold score line provide hinge lines whereby the two open halves may telescope, to thereby utilize one half as a cover for the other half, or both halves may abut at their open faces to provide a box of maximum volume. The halves may be folded back to a position, wherein an easel or display structure is formed. Securing means are provided to secure the two halves in the easel-forming position. A preferred form of securing means comprises slots in the easel surfaces of the box and a plastic flexible member having rigid transverse rod members at the ends, the rods being dimensioned to fit through the slots, and upon a 90* rotation to engage the easel surfaces and prevent collapse of the same.
