In a heat medium circulation circuit where the intermediate heat exchanger and the use side heat exchanger are connected, temperature sensors 31, 32, 33, and 34 are installed. An anti-freezing operation mode is provided in which, when the detection temperatures of the temperature sensors 31, 32, 33, and 34 become equal to or lower than a set temperature 'I's while a compressor 10 or pumps 21a to 21d are stopped, the heat medium is circulated to perform anti-freezing of the heat medium.

摘要： A system and method that optimizes energy consumption in an HVAC unit by minimizing chiller activity. The system uses a control unit that overrides a thermostat in at least one room to close a cooling valve that leads a fluid input to the room. When multiple cooling valves are closed through the rooms, the consequential return fluid maintains greater cooling capacity and thus, the chiller does not have to operate at full capacity. The control unit individually controls components in the HVAC unit, which were previously controlled by switches on the thermostat. The control unit includes a temperature sensor that monitors an environment, such as the room and a plenum. The control unit also includes a control relay that closes the cooling valve on the HVAC unit when the predetermined temperature of the control unit is above the thermostat temperature set by a room occupant.

The extended run time device includes a sensing circuit, a switching device and a processor. Based upon a signal from the sensing circuit, the processor causes the switching device to transmit a proxy control signal to the compressor, thereby causing power to the compressor to be maintained for a time period longer than a time period requested by the temperature control device.

摘要： The invention concerns a method for speed control of a compressor, particularly a refrigeration compressor, and a control arrangement using this method. The speed control is effected in that a control arrangement varies the speed of an electric motor in dependence of simple ON/OFF signals from a thermostat placed in the surroundings to be cooled. The method according to the invention is characterized in that the starting speed of the compressor in a following ON period is reduced in relation to the final speed in the previous ON period. A continuous reduction of the starting speed of each ON period results in a self-regulating control giving long compressor operation times and an averagely low speed resulting in energy savings. A control arrangement using this method is also described.

摘要： A multi-room air conditioning system includes an outdoor unit and a plurality of indoor units connected in parallel to the outdoor unit. A compressor frequency and combustion control calculator reads a load level for each indoor unit from a load coefficient table using a differential temperature calculated by a differential temperature calculator and a rated capacity stored in a rated capacity memory. The compressor frequency and combustion control calculator then multiplies a sum of the load levels by a predetermined constant and adds a compensation value thereto to obtain a frequency value. This value is used to control the compressor. The compressor frequency and combustion control calculator also sets a target combustion level using the frequency value for control of a refrigerant heater mounted in the outdoor unit.
