    • A process for producing an electrically conductive material (1) is proposed, wherein the process comprises the steps: a. provision of a structure (2) composed of electrically conductive fibres (3), b. production of a carbon-based, electrically conductive matrix (5) which at least partly surrounds the electrically conductive fibres (3), where at least some of the electrically conductive fibres (3) are interrupted in a possible current flow direction (9) before or after production of the matrix (5). Furthermore, electrically conductive materials (1) which can be obtained in a corresponding manner are proposed. Finally, a radiator (23) which contains a transparent or translucent housing and an electrically conductive material (1) according to the invention is provided. The invention makes it possible to provide electrically conductive materials (1) having an increased electrical resistance. In this way, radiators (23), in particular, having virtually any length can now be operated at conventional grid voltages.
