摘要： An apparatus defining a travel path for dyeing a traveling textile strand in a continuous in-line process includes: an applicator for metering and applying a predetermined amount of a liquid to a traveling textile strand along a travel path defined by the apparatus whereby the traveling strand is saturated with the liquid; means for heating the traveling strand to a first predetermined temperature and then to a second predetermined temperature for drying and finishing the traveling strand, the heating means including at least one heated roll disposed along the travel path adjacent to and downstream of said applicator; and a winding arrangement disposed at the end of the travel path adjacent to and downstream of the heating means for winding the dried and finished traveling strand on a bobbin to form a finished package following the heating of the traveling strand. The heating means includes a first pair of heated rolls for heating the traveling strand to the first predetermined temperature ad a second pair of heated rolls for heating the traveling strand to the second predetermined temperature. Alternatively, the heating means includes a single roll having a first heating zone which heats the traveling strand to the first predetermined temperature and a second heating zone which heats the traveling strand to the second predetermined temperature. Preferably, the travel path extends from the applicator directly to the heating means, and from the heating means directly to the winding arrangement.

摘要： The production of tension-proof, liquid impermeable, flexible bands which are preferably utilized for presses to dewater fiber material webs and are subjected therein to substantial tensile stresses between a press-shoe and a press-roll as the same glide across the press-shoe which is effected by means of penetration of a flowable mixture of a prepolymer with a cross linking agent onto the reinforcing band, preferably formed of fabric and receiving the tension forces in a direction longitudinally of the press band. Penetration most effectively occurs through covering the fabric band by pouring thereover of the flowable mixture as the band is in stretched condition and is moved.

The excess scouring liquid is squeezed out, the tow is rinsed with water, rinse water is squeezed out, and a finish is applied to the tow and partially squeezed out in an in-line continuous process to remove a portion of the applied finish. Thus processed, the still-wet tow is continuously cut into wet flock, the wet flock is then dried and beaten to open up and separate the individual flock particles, and screened.

摘要： A pressing apparatus for the squeezing out of liquid from fibrous or granular material, particularly for the wringing out of laundry, consisting of a diaphragm press with a pressure member, the pressure chamber of which is covered by a diaphragm and a pressure medium being introducible into this pressure member to deform the diaphragm. In parallel with and underneath the diaphragm, a conveyor belt is extended which rests on a supporting member and is liquid-permeable. On this conveyor belt, the material to be pressed is moved from a loading station into the pressing station underneath the pressure member and further into the unloading station. In the loading station, a preforming unit is disposed to preform the laundry bale. Furthermore, the interior of the pressure member is constructed so that the laundry bale, shaped by the preforming unit, can be accommodated therein.

A controller that controls the relative movement between the substrate support and the nozzle assembly along the conveying direction, or the movement of the forced air assembly along the second axis based on information related to a pretreatment area or a print area of the textile substrate in order to direct heated air from the forced air assembly onto an area of the textile substrate substantially corresponding to the pretreatment area or the print area.
