摘要： A decorative light array system includes a multiplicity of illuminators; a wire harness having a plurality of circuit paths for feeding the power to the illuminators and including a net portion supporting the illuminators, each of the circuit paths having a plurality of circuit branches extending across the net portion from spaced peripheral feeder locations thereof, a plurality of the illuminators being spaced apart and series-connected in each of the circuit branches, the circuit branches of each circuit path being parallel-connected, adjacent ones of the circuit branches being in different circuit paths; the net portion including net strands extending from proximate each of the illuminators to proximate at least one illuminator of an adjacent circuit branch for forming net intersections, and a multiplicity of translucent sleeve members, each sleeve member enclosing a corresponding illuminator and a portion of each net strand; and a control circuit connected to the wire harness, the control circuit having a connector for powering from an external source and being capable of separately and sequentially driving each of the circuit paths for activating corresponding subsets of the illuminators.

摘要： An arrangement for mounting a miniature light on a tree branch includes a mounting member that has a first end portion forming a first channel for receiving a portion of the miniature light, and a bifurcated second end portion forming a recess for receiving a portion of a respective branch that is situated at the location at which the miniature light is to be placed. The recess has at least two portions respectively bounded by at least two substantially circularly cylindrical surfaces of different diameter. The recess portions open into one another at respective cusps separating the recess portions from one another. The cylindrical surface diameters decrease from one of the recess portions to another in a direction toward the one end portion and are so chosen as to enable the respective recess portions to individually accommodate and frictionally engage the branch portion having thicknesses within a wide range.

摘要： A Christmas light stand device which at night will simulate a lighted Christmas tree and which during daylight hours is unobtrusive and does not obstruct a view therethrough which comprises a plurality of rigid, telescopic, transparent tubular plastic members forming an upwardly converging conical shape; a cylindrical core member at the apex of said conical shape; said core member having a plurality of hinges disposed about the periphery thereof adapted to engage with the upper ends of said tubular members and adjustable horizontal brace members connecting the lower ends of said tubular member one to another to form a rigid structure. The cylindrical core member at the top of the conical shape preferably has a vertically adjustable ornament holder extending upwardly therefrom, while a plurality of wire clips are slidably mounted on said tubular members to engage and hold the wires of conventional electric Christmas lights spirally wrapped therearound. One attractive modification is the provision of lights at the base of the tubes and directed upwardly therethrough. By virtue of the hinged fastening to the top cylindrical core, once the cross braces at the base are telescoped or alternatively removed and the legs telescoped, the device can be stored in a very small space.

The arm may hold an object such as a representation of a lantern or candle that holds a light bulb which automatically goes on when the arm is raised and goes off when the arm is lowered. The light bulb may be provided with a suitable light-diffusing cover, and it may be so positioned, when raised, to fully illuminate the three-dimensional contoured face of the doll without undesirable dark, scary shadow effects as would frighten the child. The doll may have a soft holdable body with at least the movable arm being a rigid molded part pivotally mounted at the shoulder of the doll. An off-on switch may be provided at the shoulder and be operable by the pivotal movement of the arm. The lantern may be detachable and may contain batteries that are electrically connected to the light bulb through the switch. The arm may be biased to the lowered position to automatically turn off the light when the arm is released.
