    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately perform inclination compensation without being affected by human factors. SOLUTION: This inclination compensator 1 is used for compensating an inclination of a vibration detector 2. The vibration detector 2 comprises a permanent magnet 22 and a coil 23. The permanent magnet 22 is fixed in a case body 21 while the coil 23 is attached to a pendulum 25. The vibration detector 2 causes a vibration of the pendulum 25 to generate a voltage across the coil 23 corresponding to the size of the vibration for vibration detection. This inclination compensator 1 is equipped with a drive means 11 for changing the inclination angle of the case body 21 to the horizontal, a resonance circuit part 13 comprising an amplifier 131 for amplifying a voltage generated in the coil 23 for feeding back the amplified voltage to an input of the amplifier 131, a determination means 14 for determining whether or not the voltage value of the voltage amplified by the circuit part 13 exceeds a prescribed value, and a drive control means 12 for stopping the drive of the drive means 11 when it is determined by the determination means 14 that the voltage value exceeds the prescribed value.     • PURPOSE: To obtain a seismoscope device which is improved in the ability of detecting the knocking sound produced by a living human being enclosed due to a disaster. CONSTITUTION: A twin T-tube filter 62 connected to the output of a seismoscope is composed of pluralities of mutually connected resistors 82, 84, and 86 for charging and capacitors 88, 90, and 92 and an output circuit generates the signal component generated by a survivor. To the charging current paths between the related resistors and capacitors, CMOS switches 94 for controlling the currents of the paths are connected. A band width control circuit 104 applies an adjustable feedback voltage across the output and input of the filter 62. A variable duty cycle generator 102 controls the tuning and center frequency of the filter 62 by controlling the duty cycle of the switch 94. The generator 102 has an oscillator and the output of the generator 102 having a relatively high frequency is supplied to a comparator together with a floating variable reference voltage.
