摘要： A powered dispensing tool includes a housing, a motor, a rack operably coupled to the motor for powered translation along a longitudinal axis in at least one of a forward direction and a reverse direction, a transmission housing at least partially positioned within the housing through which the rack is extendable, first and second plungers, at least one of which is coupled to one end of the rack, and a first cartridge housing within which first and second material cartridges may be supported in a side-by-side relationship. The first and second plungers are associated with the first and second material cartridges, respectively. The tool also includes a second cartridge housing within which only a single material cartridge may be supported. The first and second cartridge housings are interchangeably coupled to the transmission housing to adapt the tool for use with dual material cartridges or single material cartridges.

摘要： A hand saw includes a saw blade, a handle, and a blade carrier. The saw further includes a blade clamp assembly having a locking member that removably couples the saw blade to the blade carrier so that the saw blade pivots with the blade carrier about a pivot axis. An actuating button is manually movable generally transverse to a longitudinal axis of the saw blade by the user between an engaged position and a disengaged position. In the engaged position, the actuating button engages the blade carrier to retain the blade carrier and the saw blade in one of an extended position and a folded position. In the disengaged position, the actuating button is disengaged from the blade carrier so that the blade carrier and the saw blade can be pivoted between the extended and the folded positions of the saw blade.

摘要： A photovoltaic cell includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a photovoltaic material located between and in electrical contact with the first and the second electrodes. The photovoltaic material comprises i) semiconductor nanocrystals having a bang gap that is significantly smaller than peak solar radiation energy to exhibit a multiple exciton effect in response to irradiation by the solar radiation; and/or ii) a first and a second set of semiconductor nanocrystals and the nanocrystals of the first set have a different band gap energy than the nanocrystals of the second set. A width of the photovoltaic material in a direction from the first electrode to the second electrode is less than about 200 nm while a height of the photovoltaic material in a direction substantially perpendicular to the width of the photovoltaic material is at least 1 micron.

Submicron-scale structures may be obtained using standard photolithography systems with a de-magnifying lens. A de-magnifying lens for use in a standard photolithography system includes a film having a top surface, a bottom surface and a plurality of cylindrical channels containing a dielectric material; and an array of carbon nanotubes penetrating the film through the plurality of cylindrical channels, wherein an image on the top surface of the film is converted into a de-magnified image on the bottom surface of the film by the carbon nanotubes.
