    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate risk of oil supply shortage by controlling an oil circulating opening provided on an intermediate wall arranged between a transmission chamber and a clutch chamber by a flap valve. SOLUTION: An automobile comprises a transmission unit 2. A casing 3 of the transmission unit comprises the intermediate wall 6 arranged between the transmission chamber 4 for storing a transmission component and the clutch chamber 5 for storing the clutch component. The transmission unit 2 is arranged in the automobile 1 so that the clutch chamber is positioned in front of the transmission chamber seen from the vehicle longitudinal direction when the vehicle 1 advances. The intermediate wall includes the oil circulating opening 8 so that transmission oil reaches to the transmission chamber from the clutch chamber via the oil circulating opening. The intermediate wall is provided with the flap valve 9 for controlling the oil circulating opening. The flap valve allows oil flow from the clutch chamber to the transmission chamber and interferes with or blocks the reversed oil flow. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
