摘要： Provided are an electronic percussion instrument and a control device thereof. The electronic percussion instrument includes central and peripheral sensors, first and second waiting devices, and a sound production instruction device. When the central sensor detects a strike earlier than the peripheral sensor, the first waiting device performs a first waiting process for a first predetermined time after the central sensor detects the strike. When the peripheral sensor detects a strike earlier than the central sensor, the second waiting device performs a second waiting process for a second predetermined time after the peripheral sensor detects the strike. The sound production instruction device instructs production of a striking sound after the first waiting process of the first waiting device ends, or after the second waiting process of the second waiting device ends if the central sensor has not detected a strike within the second waiting process of the second waiting device.

Urging force that is for making the pedal, as rotated from an initial position, return to the initial position is applied by a spring. The pedal can rotate from the initial position to a lowermost position in which the second shaft, the third shaft, and the fourth shaft are in the same plane. The urging force of the spring increases the closer the pedal gets to the lowermost position.

摘要： Provided is an electronic percussion instrument that is capable of simulating a playing technique for an acoustic percussion instrument. A tubular body part is opened on an axial end surface, and a head is attached to the axial end surface to be struck on the front surface. A capacitance sensor includes an electrode that generates a capacitance with respect to a detected conductor, such as a human body, positioned on the front surface side of the head. Because the capacitance sensor detects a change of a capacitance corresponding to a distance between the electrode and the detected conductor, whether the detected conductor approaches (contacts) the head or presses the head can be determined. As a result, the playing technique for the acoustic percussion instrument is simulated.

A struck surface plate that vibrates to produce a musical sound when struck is disposed on a case, and a sound emission hole is formed to penetrate the struck surface plate. A musical signal is generated by a sound source device according to detection results of percussion sensors that detect the vibration caused by the striking on the struck surface plate. A sounding body produces an electronic musical sound based on the musical signal generated by the sound source device. Because the sounding body is disposed in the case, the musical sound produced by the vibration of the case and the electronic musical sound can be produced from the one case. Accordingly, the expressiveness of the performance using the percussion instrument can be enhanced.
