摘要： Apparatus for removably attaching display apparatus such as an LCD screen to electrical apparatus. The attachment apparatus provides for electrical and mechanical attachment and detachment of the display apparatus in a single operation. When the display apparatus is detached, the attachment apparatus also provides for attachment of different display apparatus to the electrical apparatus. The attachment apparatus consists of a socket including a male electrical connector and a plug including a female electrical connector. When the plug is inserted into the socket, the male and female electrical connectors are connected, thereby providing power and signals to the display apparatus. The plug is held in the socket by means of a lever-actuated friction mechanism.

One or more second portions, or at least one column, or both may be configured to be depressed to provide support and traction. The present disclosure further provides a towel including an absorption layer and a compressible region of flexible fiber disposed on one or more first portions of a top surface of the absorption layer. The towel may further include one or more columns disposed either on one or more second portions or in/proximate to openings formed through the one or more second portions. The compressible region of flexible fiber may be configured to be depressed in a compressed configuration to provide support and traction. The mat or the towel may be further adapted to form a grip apparatus.

摘要： A mounting arm is disclosed on one end of which a piece of electronic or other equipment is mounted and the other end of which is detachably fastened to the edge of a supporting surface. The arm has three moving joints that permit the equipment fastened thereto to be moved with multiple degrees of freedom for desired positioning of the equipment. One joint utilizes a friction washer assembly and a preloaded torsion spring counterbalancing the weight of the equipment. The torsion spring tension is adjustable to compensate for differing weights of equipment on the one end of the arm. Another joint utilizes a friction ball joint arrangement having double concentric friction ball surfaces in an assembly that permits multiple degrees of freedom of motion and is easily removed from the remainder of the arm without disassembling the ball joint.

摘要： A video scanning arrangement for scanning and digitizing documents, and having a scanner actuable to scan a document on a tablet beneath the scanner. The scanner is attached to a horizontal arm member which is in turn attached to and movable up and down a vertical support member which in turn is attached to the tablet. Two light arms are pivotally attached to the horizontal arm member and each light arm has a light source attached to its nonpivoting end. Each light arm is normally folded against the horizontal arm member for storage when the video scanning arrangement is not in use, and the light arms are extended to move the light sources away from the arm member when the video scanning arrangement is to be used. The light sources are energized to illuminate a document on the tablet when the scanner is actuated to scan a document.
