    • The disclosed technology regards a reusable, non-pyrotechnic diversionary device having a housing assembly which receives and supports a pressure manifold, activation assembly, and a lighting assembly. The housing assembly includes a vessel, a main chassis, and a transparent lens. Positioned within the main chassis is a pressure manifold which supports a compressed gas source. A puncture pin is provided in the activation assembly, and aligned with the compressed gas source to facilitate puncture of the source. The disclosed technology further regards a reusable, non-pyrotechnic diversionary assembly having a housing assembly and a reloading tool. The reloading tool has an externally threaded inner body with an aperture at its distal end sized to receive the puncture pin, and an outer body sized and internally threaded to rotatably receive a portion of the inner body in its shaft, allowing the inner body to traverse through and from the shaft at its distal end. A threaded interface is provided on the outer body of the reloading tool to align with the first support structure of the pressure manifold. The inner body rotationally translates within the outer body to position the distal end of the inner body relative to the puncture pin and allow it to translate the puncture pin from an active position to a secured position.

    • A firecracker construction includes a relatively small firecracker mounted within an enlarged supplemental housing so that an elongated fuse projects outwardly. Except for a portion of the projecting fuse, the smaller firecracker within the housing is completely surrounded by a solid, noncombustible material which enhances the report of the exploding firecracker.Preferably the construction includes a U.S. Department of Transportation Hazard Class 1.4G explosive. Other preferred forms include a safety fuse. In particularly preferred forms, the noncombustible material is formed of clay, calcium sulfate, or a mixture thereof.

    • A new aerial bomb for uses such as scaring birds and other such creatures away from airport runways, farmer's fields, and the like, is disclsoed. When detonated in a shotgun, the aerial bomb provides two reports; the first occurring when the propelling powder in the shotgun shell is ignited, and the second occuring when the ignited projectile bomb explodes several seconds later. A unique fuse is provided such that no physical connection is necessary in the shotgun shell between the propellant powder and the explosive projectile fuse. Furthermore, the casing of the shell is provided with visual observation means and the projectile is provided with position indicator means, so that the fully assembled aerial bomb may be readily inspected to verify proper installation of the projectile in the casing.
