    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for cooling electronic components is provided to cool the electronic components such as utilize flexible circuity to be easily manufactured, to be space-efficient, and to reduce cost and complexity associated with fluid delivery systems. CONSTITUTION: A flexible printed wiring device(18) has been folded along a line, so that a first region and a second region are formed on a first side(22) and a second side(23) of the flexible printed wiring device(18). Components(10) are disposed in the first region while fluid distributing channel(28) and orifices(36), which may be nozzles, are located in second region. Fluid distributing channel(28) and nozzles may be placed in any suitable location, however. In this manner, fluid may pass into the channel(28) and through nozzles(36), which atomize the fluid and cause it to impinge directly on components(10). Nozzles(36) are preferably located from one to ten millimeters from components(10), although a distance of six millimeters may be suitable.
