摘要： The disclosed method may include configuring one or more brakes based on a braking-related attribute expected at a geographic location being traversed by a personal mobility vehicle. By configuring the application of brakes of a personal mobility vehicle based on terrain, environmental conditions, and other geographic features, the system may reduce the risk of the vehicle skidding or tipping due to over-braking. In some embodiments, a rider may use a single brake lever to indicate a desire to brake and the system may make determinations about how to apply a combination of mechanical and electrical brakes to front and back wheels based at least in part on the location of the personal mobility vehicle. By configuring brake engagement based on a combination of controls and map data, the system may improve user experience and user safety, especially for inexperienced riders.

The lug drive system includes a 2-piece lug drive hub assembly mourned on one side of the wheel to apply a driving force thereto. The lug drive hub assembly includes a lug drive sprocket and a hub that are detachably connected together by an inner retaining ring. The lug drive sprocket includes an outer drive ring and an inner carrier disk that are detachably connected together by an outer retaining ring. The lug drive system also includes a 2-piece lug drive rotor assembly mounted on the opposite side of the wheel to apply a braking force thereto. The lug drive rotor assembly includes a lug brake rotor and a hub that are detachably connected together by an inner retaining ring. The lug brake rotor includes an outer friction ring and an inner carrier disk that are detachably connected together by an outer retaining ring.

The base parts are pivotally connected together at their pivot ends by the hinge structure. The releasable connecting structure releasably couples fastening ends of the base parts together. The lock pin is movable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The lock pin is engaged with both of the pivot ends of the base parts when the lock pin is in the locking position to prevent relative movement of the base parts. The lock pin is disengaged from one of the pivot ends of the base parts when the lock pin is in the unlocking position to permit relative movement of the base parts.

摘要： A parking brake mechanism for a motorcycle having a rear brake pedal which is to be depressed for applying a brake on a rear road wheel. An annular ratchet wheel is rigidly connected to the pivoted end of the rear brake pedal for simultaneous rotation therewith, and one or more pawls pivotally mounted within the ratchet wheel are spring biased into engagement with teeth formed on its inside surface. Normally, the pawls are held out of engagement with the ratchet teeth by a rotary cam ring. Upon angular displacement of this cam ring relative to the pawls, the ratchet mechanism functions to permit the rear brake pedal to be depressed but to prevent its return motion. The cam ring can be actuated either by a retractable footrest or by a hand lever on the steering handle of the motorcycle.

摘要： A locking mechanism for installing between a master cylinder and a brake line includes a housing having an internal bore, an inlet port, a passage, and an outlet port. A reciprocating piston is movable within the bore. A locking lever is coupled to the reciprocating piston for actuating the reciprocating piston. A fastener having an internal fluid passage for providing fluid communication between the passage and the master cylinder secures the housing to the master cylinder. The locking lever is moveable between a first position, wherein the hydraulic fluid can flow freely between the master cylinder and the brake line for engaging and disengaging the vehicle brake and a second position, wherein the hydraulic fluid is prevented from returning to the master cylinder for maintaining the vehicle brake in an engaged state.

摘要： A brake system for a rollator may include a brake handle, a braking device operatively coupled to the brake handle, and a gear rim mechanically coupled to at least one wheel of the rollator. The brake handle may be pivotally attached to a frame of the rollator and comprises a service-brake position and a parking-brake position while the braking device may be disposed on the frame of the rollator proximate the at least one wheel. When the brake handle is in a service-brake position, a braking member of the braking device is frictionally engaged with an inner portion of a rim of the at least one wheel thereby braking the wheel. When the handle is in a parking-brake position, the braking member of the braking device is engaged with teeth of the gear rim thereby preventing the wheel from rotating.
