摘要： The present invention provides a flow meter whereby movement of fluid causes screw spindles or other movable elements to rotate and generate electronic pulses. The invention compensates for non-linearity in the relationship between the flow rate and the number of pulses, occurring particularly at low flow rates, by providing a device in the form of a transducer which assigns volume a value to each pules, which volume values are accumulated such that when certain predetermined value is exceeded a transducer generates a counter signal. Thus, the present invention enables compensation for non-linearity to be made and pulses output corresponding to a standard unit of volume.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for measuring the volume of flowing substances, in particular fuel, by means of a screw spindle volumeter, comprising the following steps: detection of the rotatin of a screw spindle by means of a sensor and production of impulses, the temporal sequence of which is representative of the angular speed of the screw spindle; repeated measuring of the time interval between succcessive impulses; depending on the measured time interval, selection of a volume value that is predetermined for the corresponding time interval, whereby the volume value is representative of the volume flowing through the volumeter, at the corresponding angular speed of the spindle, per determined angle of rotation of the spindle, addition of the volume values selected successively for different time interval measurements, and establishing and, preferably, display of a total volume value, based on the sum obtained by continuous addition of the volume values during the entire measuring of volume.

摘要： A liquid dispensing system utilizes a microprocessor based electronic control and a positive displacement gear pump to accurately meter predetermined batches of liquid pumped from a supply tank. The gear pump is driven by a reversible motor through a gear reducer, and is operative to pump a predetermined fixed volume of liquid for each revolution or fraction of revolution of the pump drive shaft. A passive magnetic sensor is positioned adjacent the toothed periphery of a target wheel, which is mounted on the motor shaft, and generates a signal representative of the amount of rotation of the pump drive shaft. The electronic control is responsive to this signal for calculating the total volume of liquid dispaced by the pump. The electronic control includes a keyboard which enables a user to preprogram the precise amount of liquid to be dispensed. The system includes a discharge hose for dispensing the liquid into a user's container, which hose is automatically primed by the system prior to the dispensing operation. The system can also be provided with a provision to "drain back" the liquid into the supply tank after the dispensing operation, and/or to recirculate liquid through the supply tank when it is desired to mix the contents thereof.

摘要： The subject matter of the invention is an impeller flow-meter, particularly for accurate measurement of the flow rate of liquid fuel fed to an internal-combustion engine. In the flow-meter according to the invention, an impeller chamber (1) is provided with an inlet pipe (2), surrounded coaxially by an ante-chamber (3). A supply pipe (4) is provided for the liquid fuel and an offtake pipe for excess fuel, these pipes being situated in different planes along the axis of ante-chamber (3). A space (6) is located between the entrance end of inlet pipe (2) and the exit end of supply pipe (4). A slot (7) is formed between the outer wall of inlet pipe (2) and the inner wall of the coaxial ante-chamber (3). The slot (7) communicates with space (6) and offtake pipe (5). As a result of this structure, pulsations in the liquid supply, which would affect the impeller accuracy, are substantially extinguished in space (6) before reaching the impeller chamber (1).

摘要： A liquid flow meter of a rotary positive-displacement kind comprising a rotor and an idler mounted in a housing having an inlet and an outlet port. The rotor has blades which are swept around the housing by the fluid and the idler has pockets within which the rotor blades are returned from outlet to inlet in a fluid seal. There are four blades and three pockets, the idler being geared to the rotor so that the idler rotates four revolutions for every three revolutions of the rotor. With this arrangement the blades twist very little while in the pockets and turbulence and drag is consequently reduced, leading to greater accuracy.
