摘要： An adhesive of certain elastomeric block copolymers and tackifying materials can be hot-melt coated onto a flexible backing to provide an adhesive tape, two pieces of which can bond to each other to have excellent resistance to shear forces but can be easily peeled apart, even after prolonged periods of time. The adhesive can be low-tack or tack-free. When the novel adhesive is tacky, it can bind sheets into a note pad from which individual sheets can be removed, temporarily adhered to paper and other substrates, and later cleanly removed, even after prolonged contact.

The invention also contemplates adhesive formulations comprising these block copolymer compositions and a tackifying resin.

摘要： A high flow rate electromagnetic injector valve with a rapid response time and a method for calibrating such injector is disclosed for utilization in a single point fuel injection system. Centrally bored end caps are fixed at the front and rear ends of a tubular injector body and a coil wound on a bobbin is disposed inside the body chamber between the end caps. The front end cap receives within its bore a valve assembly including a valve housing and a needle valve with attached armature reciprocally movable against a valve seat to obturate a metering orifice in the valve housing. The valve housing contains fuel inlets for the pressurized entry of fuel into the injector and the needle valve is ported to provide fluid communication to the armature to relieve pressure build-up. The rear end cap mounts within its bore a core member acting as a stator which extends through a central bobbin bore to form a controllable air gap adjacent the armature, the core member further contains internally an adjustment screw and ball member. The ball member and adjustment screw cooperate with a recessed closure spring positioned substantially within the armature to controllably bias the needle valve against the valve seat. By the adjustment of the core member and the adjustment screw both the static fuel flow and the dynamic fuel flow of the injector are respectively calibrated.

摘要： A surgical delivery system that has particular application for providing bone graft material to an interbody device that restores disc space height during spinal fusion surgery. The bone graft delivery system includes a body portion and a shaft coupled thereto. An auger extends through a bore in the shaft and into the body portion. An end of the shaft opposite to the body portion is configured to be coupled to the interbody device, where the auger extends through a channel in the interbody device. Bone graft material is placed in a hopper coupled to the shaft, where the auger is manually or automatically rotated to deliver the bone graft material through the shaft and into the interbody device where it is dispersed into the disc space.
