    • PURPOSE: A condenser integrated with a receiver drier is provided to improve replaceability and mountability of a drying agent or a filter. CONSTITUTION: A condenser includes a first header pipe(11) having an inlet part(16) and an outlet part(17) formed thereon to allow refrigerant to flow in and out, respectively; a second header pipe(12) separated from the first header pipe; a plurality of tubes(14) laid between the first header pipe and the second header pipe, and forming a condensing area and a super-cooling area; a support member(23) installed on an outermost layer of the tubes to support the first header pipe, the second header pipe and the tubes; a receiver drier(18) joined and connected to the second header pipe; and a drying agent container(24) connected with one of the first heater pipe, the second header pipe and the receiver drier, and fixed to the support member by a fixing unit, and having a drying agent built therein. Refrigerant introduced through the inlet part flows in a middle channel of the condensing area to be condensed, and is primarily separated into gas and liquid in the second header pipe. Gaseous refrigerant flows in an upper channel of the condensing area to be re-condensed, and flows into the receiver drier. Liquefied refrigerant passes a lower channel of the condensing area to flow into the receiver drier. Refrigerant flowing into the receiver drier has moisture removed in the drying agent container, passes a channel in the super-cooling area to be super-cooled, and flows out through the outlet part.

    • PURPOSE: A lying type sub-cool condenser for an air conditioner is provided to allow the lying type sub-cool condenser to be used in the lying type air conditioner through simple change of structure by forming a receiver drier with one side protruded for refrigerant to be liquefied and collected therein, and allowing only refrigerant passing a filter and drier and liquefied to be supplied to a sub-cool zone. CONSTITUTION: A lying type sub-cool condenser comprises a left header pipe(21) and a right header pipe laid in horizontal direction, a plurality of tubes(23) connecting the left header pipe and the right header pipe to allow refrigerant to flow; cooling fins(24) filling gaps between the tubes; baffles(25) placed on locations in the left header pipe and the right header pipe to allow refrigerant to flow zigzag in the tubes; a receiver drier tank(27) attached to one side of the left header pipe, and having a downward protrusive part(27b) for a filter(28) partitioning a main body part(27a) and the protrusive part of the receiver drier tank, and containing refrigerant drier; and a vertical connecting pipe(29) fixed upright in the filter, and having a lower end placed in the protrusive part, and an upper end placed in a sub-cool zone(26) of the left header pipe.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of obtaining superior gas-liquid separation effect and being manufactured comparatively easily.
      SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 1 comprises a condensing portion 2, a supercooling portion 3, and a gas-liquid separating portion 4 disposed between the condensing portion 2 and the supercooling portion 3, and a refrigerant flowing out from the condensing portion 2 and flows into the supercooling portion 3 through the gas-liquid separating portion 4. The gas-liquid separating portion 4 comprises a plurality of liquid-receiving tubes 22, 23 disposed vertically in line. The liquid-receiving tubes 22, 23 adjacent to each other are made to communicate with each other. A first header 20 of the gas-liquid separating portion 4 is provided with a first partitioning member 27 for dividing a refrigerant inflow-side part 20a and a refrigerant outflow-side part 20b on an intermediate portion in the height direction of the lower liquid-receiving tube 23, and an upper part, with respect to the first partitioning member 27 of one end opening of the lower liquid-receiving tube 23 is applied as a refrigerant inlet 45 and its lower part is applied as a refrigerant outlet 46. The refrigerant, flowing out from the condensing portion 2, flows into the gas-liquid separating portion 4 from the refrigerant inlet 45 of the lower liquid-receiving tube 23, and flows out to the supercooling portion 3 from the refrigerant outlet 46.

A plurality of refrigerant channels are provided so that the refrigerant shuttles between the headers 10, 11 to condense the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant channel. A part of the refrigerant channels is formed between the headers 10, 11 and the receiver 17 storing the condensed refrigerant is provided.
