    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air flow measurement device in which en external determination circuit and an exclusive harness for instructing heat cleaning are unnecessary, and power supply after stop of an engine is unnecessary.SOLUTION: When an air flow measurement device receives energization, heat cleaning means 4 provided in an energization control circuit 3 executes heat cleaning for temporarily making a temperature of an exothermic heater 2 higher than that in air flow measurement. Specifically, the temperature of the exothermic heater 2 is raised to an approximately fixed target temperature on the basis of an intake air temperature. Thus, since the air flow measurement device executes the heat cleaning when receiving the energization, an external determination circuit and an exclusive harness for instructing the heat cleaning can be abolished to suppress costs. In addition, since the air flow measurement device executes the heat cleaning when receiving the energization, power supply after stop of an engine is made unnecessary to suppress the costs.
