    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce air resistance upon straight flying by providing a shape memory alloy so as to partly cover a head surface of a flying structure, the shape memory alloy being changed so as to protrude to the outside of the flying structure with a temperature change and performing the same action as a steering wing. SOLUTION: A computer 8 calculates the amount of displacement of a shape memory alloy 6 based upon an induction signal outputted from an induction apparatus 4, an acceleration signal and an angular velocity outputted from an attitude detector 5, and outputs it to a temperature controller 11. The temperature controller 11 turns on a heater power supply 10 to change the shape memory alloy 6 such that it is protruded to the outside of the flying structure 1, and controls the heater power supply 10 to adjust the temperature of the heater 9 such that the amount of displacement from the computer 8 and the amount of displacement from a distortion gauge 7 are coincident with each other. Once the shape memory alloy 6 is changed so as to protrude to the outside of the flying structure 1, flying force is produced on the side to which the shape memory alloy 6 is changed, and hence the attitude of the flying structure 1 is changed to alter a flying path.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a flying body excellent in rigidity by providing an envelope with a flexible air tube able to hold the envelope in a swollen state and providing a device for feeding air and gas such as helium gas and hydrogen gas to the air tube. CONSTITUTION: An envelope 1 with a hot air release hole 2 formed at the upper part and with a hot air lead-in opening part 3 formed at the lower part in the same way as the envelope of a heated-air-filled balloon is formed of resin coated material in order to prevent degradation and heighten airtightness, and this envelope 1 is additionally provided with a flexible air tube 4 for holding the swollen state of the envelope 1. This air tube 4 is formed of a plurality of lengthwise air tubes 4a arranged uniformly with specified spaces over the whole periphery, in the lengthwise direction of the envelope 1, and a plurality of lateral air tubes 4b formed in ring shape with specified spaces in the lateral direction of the envelope 1; and one end is provided with an air inlet 5 provided with a switching valve 6.

    • PURPOSE:To improve travel speed, enable glide even if propulsion is not generated when a propeller is stopped, and prevent a crash accident by providing wings into which gas having specific gravity smaller than that of air is filled. CONSTITUTION:In a flying object 11, a main wing 12 and the tail assembly 13 are installed on the fuselage 14, and a vertical wing 15 is arranged in a rear part of the fuselage 14, and a cabin 16 where a pilot or the like gets on board is arranged in an intermediate part of the fuselage 14. A propeller 17 to generate propulsion and an internal combustion engine 18 to drive the propeller 17 are provided in a front part of the fuselage 14. In this case, the main wing 12 is formed in a bag shape composed of a flexible material, and the front part is formed in an upward protruding cross-sectional wing shape. Gas having specific gravity smaller than specific gravity of air, for example, noble gas such as helium or argon is filled in an internal space of this main wing 12. Thereby, even if the propeller 17 is put in a stopping condition, the flying object 11 can glide freely.
