摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a hand truck correctly into a specified position even in case of being pushed in from either the front or rear side by laterally positioning the truck by truck side inner and outer rollers with a rising piece on the ground side placed in between, and fitting a truck side rod into a fit-in hole on the ground side. SOLUTION: A front side inner roller 11 is first brought into contact with the right side face of a rear end part of a vertical part 21 of a member 20 of L-shape cross section. A hand truck is then moved forward while sliding the inner roller 11 along the right side face of the vertical part 21, and an outer roller 12 is brought into contact with the left side face of the rear end part of the vertical part 21. In this state, the hand truck is moved forward to bring a rear side inner roller 11 into contact with the right side face of the rear end part of the vertical part 21. In this state, the lateral positioning of the hand truck to a specified position is completed. The hand truck is then positioned in a slightly frontward specified position. Front and rear rods are positioned directly above front and rear fit-in holes 23, 23, and the rear (closer) rod is lowered and fitted into the fit-in hole 23 to complete longitudinal positioning.

摘要： PURPOSE:To mount tires even with large height difference in the gripped parts by journalling plural grip arms with tapered faces to a base part to be fitted to a robot device, and disposing driving means having plural sliding contact bodies coming in sliding contact with the respective tapered faces. CONSTITUTION:A hand 1 is to mount spare tires T1-T6 with large height difference in the gripped parts. One end of each journalled part 16 is rotatably journalled to a base part 9 to be fitted to a robot device. Plural grip arms 21 normally energized (30, 17) in the closing direction are disposed, and plural tapered faces 21b, 28a are formed in order from the one closer to the jouranalled parts 16. Driving means 13, 15, 24 are disposed being provided additionally and integrally with one sliding contact body 23 coming in sliding contact with one tapered face 21b at intervals being driven in reciprocating motion at the base part 9, and the other sliding contact body 25 coming in immediate sliding contact with the other tapered face 28a. This results in obtaining the hand 1 usable even in the case of the height difference of the gripped parts being large.

摘要： A clamp for securing a railroad car in a rotary car dumper includes a guide pipe member mounted adjacent the section of track carried by the rotatable dumper frame, a clamp pipe member telescopically mated with the guide pipe member and a clamping jaw member extending laterally from the free end of the clamp pipe member toward the track section. Releasable coupling means in the form of a longitudinal slot in one pipe member which is engaged by a radially extending guide bar member tack welded or bolted to, or inserted in a slot in, the other pipe member permits the clamp pipe member to be extended and retracted relative to the guide pipe member by a coaxially mounted hydraulic cylinder while resisting rotational movement therebetween. If excessive torque is applied to the clamp pipe member, such as when the clamping jaw member is struck by a moving car, the guide bar member is sheared and the clamping pipe member rotates to swing the clamping jaw member out of the path of the car.

摘要： Example vehicle restraints with a barrier having rotational and translational motion are described. An example vehicle restraint includes a carriage frame movable vertically relative to the dock. A drive shaft is supported by the carriage frame. A drive unit is to rotate the drive shaft about a shaft axis and relative to the carriage frame. A hub is connected to rotate with the drive shaft about the shaft axis, the hub having an outer diameter surface that is radially off center relative to the shaft axis. A barrier defines a bore that encircles the outer diameter surface of the hub. The barrier is movable selectively to an extended position and a retracted position. The barrier being connected to move selectively to the extended position and the retracted position in response to relative rotation between the outer diameter surface of the hub and the bore of the barrier.
