CONSTITUTION:Fuel from a fuel tank is supplied to the inside of a fuel reservoir 1 by driving a needle valve 4 to be opened and closed by a solenoid 6. And providing a pipe 8 and fluid level sensors 5 inside the fuel reservoir 1, an arith metic unit 9, calculating a detecting signal from the fluid level sensors 5, controls the solenoid 6 to be turned on and off. Here the arithmetic unit 9 generates a fixed period signal of pulse width, changing with the lapse of time, turning on the solenoid 6 in every point of time where a fuel fluid level 7 lowers exceeding the reference value. By the method thus obtained, the reservoir 1 opens the needle valve 4 to introduce a predetermined amount of fuel, holding the fuel fluid level 7 to the reference value or more.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to preheat a body to be preheated rapidly by connecting a heater involving metal hydride low in hydrogen equilibrium pressure to a hydrogen storage container involving metal hydride through a valve so that hydrogen can flow therethrough so as to utilize an exothermic reaction resulting from the occlusion of metal hydride. CONSTITUTION:A container 4 for storing hydrogen is provided for involving the first metal hydride MH1 for storing the hydrogen as fuel for a hydrogen fuel engine 1 and being connected to the engine 1 through a hydrogen communication pipe 3 having a valve 2. In addition, a heater 7 is provided for involving the second metal hydride MH2 lower in hydrogen equilibrium pressure than MH1 in the range of operating temperature and being connected to a hydrogen communication pipe 3 through a connecting pipe 6 having a valve 5. This heater 7 is installed, so as to be possible to exchange heat, in the body, to be preheated, of the engine 1 etc. And the hydrogen inside the container 4 is shifted to the heater 7 to make MH2 occlude the hydrogen to generate heat and thereby the preheating of the engine is performed and thereafter the hydrogen is made to be discharged from MH2 by the temperature rise of the engine 1.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain optimum fuel pressure in accordance with running conditions, by operating a fuel pressure regulator in accordance with the displacement of an accelerator and as well by correcting the fuel pressure by means of a series of culculations in consideration with the conditions of the engine and the ambient air, so that the optimum fuel pressure previously set is obtained. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of a fuel pressure sensor 11 for detecting the pressure of fuel flow, an ambient air condition sensor 12 and an engine condition sensor 13 for engine speed, cooling water temperature, throttle opening degree, etc., are delivered to an MPU (microprocessor unit) 10 for controlling a fuel pressure regulator 7 by a control signal obtained by carrying out a series of calcurations. Further, at this stage, an accelerator control signal is delivered to an air metering system 14 for changing the volume of intake air in accordance with the above-mentioned accelerator control signal, and the output signal of the system is delivered to an air detecting system 101 in the MPU for obtaining the volume of intake air. Further, an appropriate fuel volume is obtained in a fuel control system 102 in accordance with the air volume in consideration with engine parameters, etc., thereby a fuel pressure control system 15 is controlled with the use of the output of the control system 102.
