Meanwhile, the gear 5 runs idle because a clutch cam 9 does not transmit power. The clutch 11 does not transmit power for the returning motion of the rack 4, so that the gear 3 runs idle. The clutch cam 9 transmits power this time, so that the rotation of the gear 5 is transmitted to a bevel gear 6. The rotation of the bevel gear 5 is transmitted to a bevel gear 6. The rotation of the bevel gear 6 is transmitted from a bevel gear 8 to a bevel gear 7, which is converted into the rotation of the opposite direction to be transmitted to a power transmitting shaft 1. Accordingly, the power transmitting shaft is rotated in the same direction by the either going and returning motions of the clutch 4.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain any reduction gear ratio by simple structure, by transmitting the positive revolution and reverse revolution of a driving shaft, which is driven by means of a motor periodically repeating positive and reverse revolution and turns in a reciprocative manner, to a driven gear by means of separate partical gears. CONSTITUTION:A cam plate C1 is fixed to driving shaft 2, and a cam plate C2 is loosely fitted. Partical toothed wheels 3, 4 are unified with the cam plate C2, the partical toothed wheel 4 is engaged with a driven toothed wheel 5 by means of the cam plates C1, C2 when the driving shaft 2 turns in the arrow head direction, and the shaft 2 also drops with the lowering of the cam C2 and the partial toothed wheel 3 is engaged with the driven toothed wheel when the shaft turns in the reverse direction.
