摘要： A local probe for use in nuclear magnetic resonance imaging includes a pair of loop-gap resonators which are connected together and positioned adjacent a region of interest. FID signals produced in the region of interest induce signals in coupling loops mounted near each loop-gap resonator, and these connect to a transmission line leading to the receiver. Three embodiments are disclosed, one best suited for imaging appendages, a second best suited for imaging the head and neck, and a third best suited for the spine.

摘要： PURPOSE: To make available a circular polarization high frequency for a nuclear magnetic resonance tomographic device by forming antenna devices so that each of them has an open turn which respectively forms a resonant circuit together with the capacitance of an antenna resonant capacitor, and providing a decoupling capacitor between antenna devices. CONSTITUTION: A circular polarization high frequency antenna 10 is arranged in a camera capacity, and comprises tow antenna devices 12, 13. Each of the antenna devices comprises a central leg 14 or 15, and tow side legs 16, 17 or 18, 19. Each of free edges of the side legs is connected with a return circuit 22 or 23, and these return circuits extend parallel with the central legs 14, 15 so as to form an open turn of both antenna devices 12, 13. Preferably, each inductance of these turns forms a resonant circuit together with a variable resonant capacitor 24 or 25. The antenna devices 12, 13 are arranged so that their central legs intersect. For decoupling antenna, a decoupling capacitor 28 may be connected between the antenna devices 12 and 13 which is different from each other.

摘要： PURPOSE: To make it possible to execute correction and calibration of the strength of high frequency waves/magnetic fields even in cases where an output of high frequency waves is small by placing a calibration coil outside of a calibration room and enabling to adjust an electric current having a high frequency wave according to an output signal generated by the Calibration coil. CONSTITUTION: At least one calibration coil 17 is connected to one calibration input 20 for a regulator 19 by way of a calibration wire 18 and the standard input 21 for the regulator 19 is connected to reference voltage U0. The output of the regulator 19 is connected to an amplification control input of an amplifier 15 which can regulate an amplification. In order to adjust high frequency wave- magnetic field strength H1 reproducibly, a reference calibration is carried out beforehand. Thus, each object for calibration stored in high frequency wave coil 13 affords an equal effective high frequency wave-magnetic field strength Hp within an effective high frequency wave-magnetic field strength H1 and calibration coil 13 regardless of its size and its body position.
