摘要： A cable including a conductor surrounded by a covering layer, the covering layer formed from a thermoplastic vulcanizate composition which includes a continuous phase and a dispersed phase. The continuous phase is formed of a thermoplastic polyolefin. The dispersed phase is formed of a cross-linked elastomeric polyolefin. The thermoplastic vulcanizate composition passes the Hot Creep Test at 150° C. in accordance with UL 2556 (2013) and has a dielectric loss of 3 or less. Methods of forming cables with coverings are also disclosed.

摘要： A metal ion generator for fluids includes a pipe having an insertion aperture positioned between the fluid inlet and fluid exit, and a conductive member configured to be removably secured in the insertion aperture. The conductive member includes a rigid non-conductive extension and a metal bar. When secured in the insertion aperture, the rigid non-conductive extension positions the metal bar into the direct flow of fluid between the fluid inlet and the fluid exit. A power source applies a voltage to the conductive member causing the metal bar to function as an anode and generate metal ions that are transferred into the fluid. The power supply also connects to a cathode such as the pipe or a second conductive member secured in the insertion aperture.

摘要： A medical apparatus for securing a medical device. The medical apparatus can include a garment, the garment having a body portion with an outward facing surface and an inward facing surface. The body portion can have an upper panel, and a lower panel juxtaposed with the upper panel to define an access opening. The access opening provides access from the outward facing surface to the inward facing surface between the upper panel and the lower panel. A low profile anchor secured on the outward facing surface can be configured for releasable securement of a portion of the medical device. An outer panel affixed to and selectively detachable from the body portion can span at least a portion of the access opening and define a selectively closesable pocket configured to retain a portion of the medical device. The garment can have a sleeve affixed to the body portion at an arm opening, the sleeve including a first sleeve portion and a second sleeve portion. The first sleeve portion and the second sleeve portion define an opening through which a catheter tube extending through the arm opening can be routed and secured.
