摘要： A security apparatus for a portable electronic device comprising a force-transmission member having a length, a first end, and a second end. A lock head is coupled to the first end of the force-transmission member. The lock head is movable by the force-transmission member between a locked position, in which the lock head is secured to the portable electronic device, and an unlocked position, in which the lock head is unsecured from the portable electronic device. An actuator assembly is spaced a distance from the lock head along the length of the force-transmission member. The actuator assembly includes a body and a movable member positioned within the body and coupled to the second end of the force-transmission member. The movable member includes a first ramped surface. The actuator assembly comprises a manual actuator supported by the body, the manual actuator including a second ramped surface that engages the first ramped surface of the movable member. The manual actuator is movable between a first position, in which the movable member is movable toward the lock head, and a second position, in which the movable member is pushed away from the lock head by the second ramped surface. The actuator assembly comprises a lock mechanism supported by the body and coupled to the movable member to inhibit movement of the movable member.
