    • Provided are a method, computer storage device, and tone control device for generating tones with a vibrato effect. A determination is made of a key depression interval comprising a difference of a current time of a current note from a previous time of a previous note. A performance mode is set to a single tone mode, in which only one note is generated, or a polyphonic mode, in which multiple notes are simultaneously generated, based on the determined key depression interval. The tone is generated to output the current note with a first modulation magnitude in response to determining that the performance mode is the single tone mode. A tone is generated to output the current note with a second modulation magnitude in response to determining that the performance mode is the polyphonic mode, wherein the first modulation magnitude is greater than the second modulation magnitude.

    • A sound device includes an input terminal for electronic signal input; a line out terminal adapted to output electronic signals input on the input terminal to an external area; a delay arrangement adapted to delay electronic signals input on the input terminal for a certain time; a main output arrangement adapted to output electronic signals delayed by the delay arrangement. The delay arrangement delays signals in order to accommodate a time difference between (1) electronic signals output from an external sound device connected with the line output terminal and (2) electronic signals output from the main output arrangement. The time difference between sound that is output from the sound device and the one that is output from an external sound device that is connected with line connection terminal can be eliminated. Thus, it can prevent sound quality decrease due to time difference from happening.

    • A musical tone signal processing apparatus configured to freely expand or contract an acoustic image. A setting means may set a second reference localization, a first function that stipulates expansion of the boundary of one end of a direction range, and a second function that stipulates expansion of the boundary of an other end of said direction range. In addition, an output direction indicated by localization information of an extraction signal that exists in the direction range in which the conditions have been set in this manner is shifted by an acoustic image scaling means. The acoustic image in said direction range is expanded or contracted accordingly. In other words, the acoustic image formed by the extraction signal is expanded or contracted by shifting the output direction for each extraction signal extracted from within the direction range.
