摘要： A golf club head having an insert mechanically coupled to a frame. The construction allows a golf club head to be fabricated with a combination of dissimilar materials, resulting in a club head with improved performance. In some embodiments, the insert comprises an outer insert material, an inner insert material, and a sandwiched material. The sandwiched material may be constructed with a plurality of voids having a varying distribution, thereby resembling a biological structure. Methods for forming a golf club having an insert mechanically coupled to a frame are also disclosed.

In one embodiment, the face and the identified golf ball(s) may have the same or substantially the same vibration mode at one or more different swing speeds. The indicator may be positioned on the body or elsewhere on the club head, or may be alternately be positioned on a shaft connected to the head or separately from the ball striking device, such as in a written manual associated with the head.

The striking face further has an insert disposed within the recess. The striking face additionally has a minimum periphery width separating the striking face outer periphery and the recess periphery. The periphery width is no greater than 1.25 mm.

The inside plate has a thickness that is 0.5 to 1.8 millimeters and is made of high strength material. The inside plate, which is hollow or meshed, is connected to the outside plate. Therefore, the COR of the faceplate will be more consistent, and the faceplate can be fabricated with a large area.
