摘要： High-density bales for erosion control or for forming a flood barrier are made by the compaction of tree leave material. The bales are made substantially from tree leave material that retains at least a portion of the vein structure. The vein structure improves the structurally integrity of the bale. A baler may be used to form the bale and it may compact the leave material up to an 8:1 compaction ratio, forming bales with a density of 0.3 to 0.8g/cc or more. The bales may have a retainer wire or mesh configured around a portion of the bale to retain the bale shape. The bales may contain seeds for growing plants directly from the bales as the leave material degrades to provide the nutrients for plant growth. This plant growth from the bale provides an aesthetically appealing bale that blends into the natural environment.

摘要： A method of bundling primary packages of absorbent articles into secondary packages includes advancing first and second films in a stretched state in a machine direction. At least two primary packages of absorbent articles are advanced in the machine direction between the first and second films. The primary packages are compressed in a first direction, wherein the first direction is orthogonal to the machine direction. The primary packages are advanced in a second direction, wherein the second direction is opposite the machine direction. The first and second films are bonded together to form a bonded region. The first and second films compress the primary packages of absorbent articles in the first direction, forming a secondary package around the primary packages of absorbent articles. The bonded region is cut to form a first bond on a first secondary package and a second bond on a second secondary package.

The monolayer film is a blend of two components: (1) a linear low density polyethylene and (2) a propylene-based polymer, a high density polyethylene, and combinations thereof. The propylene-based polymer can be a propylene homopolymer, a propylene/a-olefin interpolymer, a propyleve/ethylene interpolymer, or a propylene/ethylene copolymer. The multilayer film has an inner layer located between two outer layers. The inner layer is composed of one or more of the following: high density polyethylene, and/or any of the foregoing propylene-based polymers. The outer layers may be the same or different and are composed of one or more of the following: linear low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, and any of the foregoing propylene-based polymers. The present films exhibit proved oxygen barrier properties particularly for balage applications.
