摘要： A closure for the open mouth of an airtight container. The closure has a resiliently flexible diaphragm which has a peripheral edge (37) which can sealing engage against an inside wall surface of the open mouth. The diaphragm (13) is engaged with the second cover section (12) of a cover. A pair of toggles (24) are pivotally mounted on axles (22) of second cover section (12). The levers (30) of the toggles (24) extend through an opening (44) in the first or outer cover section (11) when the first and second cover sections (11,12) are snap-locked together. By moving the levers (30) toward one another the respective feet (27) of the toggle (24) engage with area (35) of the diaphragm (13) to deform the diaphragm and thereby break a sealing effect between the peripheral edge of the diaphragm and the inside wall surface of the open mouth.

When the cover covers upon the container, the buckling plates of the cover will be expanded so that the cover covers the container. The buckles of the buckling plates of the cover will align to and enter into the buckling recesses of the container so that the buckles move downwards through a length; and thus the buckling blocks of the buckles will engage in the buckling recesses of the container; and the container is engaged with the cover by horizontal insertion and buckling effect.

摘要： A support for a predetermined container having a rim e.g. at its top opening, the support comprising a lid or a supporting ring, constructed to interfit e.g. with the rim of the container, wherein there is a suspender, formed with the lid or supporting ring and deflectable from an as-formed position to an upstanding position in which it is capable of carrying weight of the container. In most cases suspenders extend inwardly of a rim of the lid or supporting ring. Free-ended flexible finger suspenders of synthetic resin, are shown, formed integrally with the lid or supporting ring as a molded unit. The lids or rings are associated with closure surfaces, such as closure portions molded with the lid or ring, closure inserts, or closure films or foils on the container itself. The suspenders are useful to the consumer in enabling improved carrying of the merchandise with other items or in intertwined fusion with the like items, and to the storekeeper in suspending merchandise. Combinations of the lids or supporting rings with containers containing prepackaged food, tennis balls and other contents, are displayed by storekeepers from hooks and racks, in many cases hanging at a substantial tilt angle for better visibility and utilization of stocking space.

摘要： An easily-opened container includes a container body (11) with an opening portion and a lid (20) cooperating with the opening portion. The lid has a central lid portion (29) and a peripheral portion located outside this lid portion and sealingly and permanently fixed to the opening portion for closing the container. The central lid portion and the peripheral portion are separated from one another by a weakened portion (22) which extends in the circumferential direction of the opening portion and at least partially around the opening portion. In a restricted region, the opening portion is provided with a recess (17) located beneath the weakened portion. A stripping unit (50) with fulcrum-effect is pivotably supported in a support region (100). The stripping device has a pull member (51) and a pressure member (54), the latter abutting against the outer surface of the lid inside the weakened portion and above the recess in order, on lifting of the pull member, to realize, by pressure against the above-mentioned region, material rupture in the weakened portion and thereby initiate opening of the container.

The locking device includes a central hand-controlled vertically reciprocable operating rod connected to the lid, with radially projecting connecting rods connecting the reciprocable operating rod with corresponding elastic latch members normally seated in the annular recess in the locking position. The raising of the operating rod and connecting rods by the handle control mechanism flexes the elastic latch members radially inward to disengage the recess and permit withdrawal of the lid from the container.
