摘要： A multilayer fabric includes a multilayer structure including a plurality of interwoven fabric layers. The multilayer structure is expandable in a first direction from a non-expanded state to an expanded state. The fabric layers are stacked one above another and are aligned in the first direction when the multilayer structure is disposed at the non-expanded state. The fabric layers are formed into a cell-like structure when the multilayer structure is disposed at the expanded state. The cell-like structure defines a plurality of cell holes that are arranged along a plane parallel to the first direction and that open in a second direction transverse to the first direction.

A woven or knitted cloth was prepared at a density of 5 to 1800 yarns per inch by using a carbon fiber monofilament of a diameter of 10 μm or less as a single yarn. This cloth can be practically used widely in the fields of precise equipments and medical care, as an ultrathin sheet having biocompatibility and electroconductivity.

摘要： A directional electrostatic dissipating fabric and method of making such fabric constructed of a woven or knitted base fabric having an integrally woven or knitted grid structure which is raised above only one surface of the base fabric forming a fabric with a raised grid on one side and a smooth or substantially smooth grid on the other side thereby resulting in increased, directional electrostatic dissipation performance from the side having the raised grid. The grid is formed from an electroconductive yarn plied to a carrier yarn which is then integrally woven or knitted into the fabric in the warp direction, the fill direction or both, thereby producing a fabric which exhibits the rapid, yet controlled, directional dissipation of static electricity into the air. Such fabric can be used for anti-static covering cloths, filtration media and the like; but is particularly adapted for use in anti-static garments and it is particularly comfortable when the smooth or substantially smooth surface is adjacent the wearer and the raised surface is on the outside of the garment.

摘要： A method for manufacturing anti-interference hybrid fabric prepares multiple fiber strands made of a compound material. The fiber strands have multiple strands of conductive fiber and multiple strands of non-conductive fiber serving as filament yarns for weaving the anti-interference hybrid fabric. The method further inputs the fiber strands serving respectively as warp yarns and filling yarns to a loom machine to weave a finished product of the anti-interference hybrid fabric after selecting at least one unblocking area on the finished product. The warp and filling yarns passing through the at least one unblocking area correspond to the strands of non-conductive fiber and the rest of warp and filling yarns correspond to the strands of conductive fiber. Accordingly, a cover formed by the finished product has the at least one unblocking area allowing a communication product having the cover to transmit or receive electromagnetic signals therethrough.

摘要： A flexible intermediate bulk container having optimum discharge of hazardous charge. Conventional flexible containers are capable of carrying materials that may ignite if contacted with a charge. The container of the instant invention permits the safe handling of flexible intermediate bulk containers, either with or without grounding. Unlike many prior art systems, the container, in one embodiment, does not include an anti-static coating, thereby resulting in cost and time savings. The electrostatic yarn of the present invention may be incorporated into any bag or container system without any modifications in the process of forming the yarn. The yarn may be used in either flat or circular weave, and the yarn may be included in fabrics used in other materials besides containers or bags.

摘要： Textile fabric shielding electromagnetic radiation, and clothing made thereof. The textile fabric is made of threads spun of textile fibers, containing cotton, and of steel fibers having a diameter of 6 to 10 .mu.m. The number of mixed yarn threads in warp direction and in weft direction each is 18 to 20 threads per cm, and the yarn fineness of the textile fabric is especially 38 to 40 tex. The textile fabric guarantees a shielding of 20 to 40 dB against electromagnetic radiation at a frequency of 10 GHz. The fabric has the quality of usual clothing, and the clothing thereof is designed with respect to proportions, seams, fasteners, and other special features in a manner such that especially people wearing pacemakers, or hospital and radar personnel, are protected against electromagnetic radiation.
