摘要： A firearm with tilting barrel-receiver assembly. In one embodiment, the firearm includes a frame and a barrel-receiver assembly pivotably mounted to the frame. The barrel-receiver assembly is movable between an open position and a closed position. A latching mechanism may include a slide plate configured to selectively engage the frame. The latching mechanism is movable between a locked position wherein the barrel-receiver assembly is held in the closed position by the slide plate and an unlocked position wherein the barrel-receiver assembly is movable to the tilted open position. The slide plate may be spring biased into the locked position. An actuator button cooperates with the slide plate for moving the latching mechanism between the locked and unlocked positions.

A BHOA housing is supported upon the lower receiver in communication with a receiver chamber in communication with a bolt assembly. A catch is supported in elevatable fashion relative to an end of the actuator housing and an end most and downward extending structural portion of the elevatable catch is capable of being manipulated by an externally configured and toggled bolt catch so that an inner pivoting end portion thereof engages the structural portion to raise the BHOA supported catch into contact with a forwardly traveling bolt, such as upon release of a previously retracted charging handle. The BHOA catch can alternatively be actuated upwardly by a suitably configured follower associated with an attachable and cartridge holding magazine, this again following a last shot hold open protocol.

摘要： A bolt locking assembly for a weapon simulator, the weapon simulator having a bolt affixed to a firearm housing providing recoil to the user. The bolt is connected to a piston housed in a piston chamber inside the housing. A gas supply provides a compressed gas or fluid into the piston chamber to generate movement and recoil of the piston. After the weapon simulator has been fired a predetermined number of times, the bolt locking assembly will obstruct operation of the bolt and piston. The bolt locking assembly includes a lock actuator port engaging the piston chamber, a locking apparatus positioned within the housing proximate the bolt, and a lock channel between said lock actuator port and said locking arm, wherein the lock channel directs gas to said locking apparatus to actuate said locking apparatus and fix the bolt in place.
