A voice section 12 stops sound collection operation and the control section 17 stops communication with the master unit. When the AC power from the power line is restored, the section 152 switches the operating power supply to the power of the power line. When knowing the restoration of the power supply, a user utilizing the master unit instructs the supervisory camera to read image information having been stored during the power failure and supervises the state while the AC power was interrupted by tracing back the past state.
