    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated system and method for security monitoring and early fire alarming based on infrared imaging technology.SOLUTION: A system comprises: a plurality of infrared cameras respectively set up in a plurality of places which need implementation of security monitoring, are used to capture infrared thermal images of a monitored area, and output infrared thermal image analog signals related to the infrared thermal images of the monitored area including temperature values; a plurality of data process modules each of which is provided near each of the infrared cameras to transform the infrared thermal image analog signals into infrared digital signals for standard network transmission; and a monitor computer which generates and outputs control signals for the cameras, and receives the digital signals to analyze, process, manage and control them and specifies threat types and threat outbreak positions regarding abnormal situations therein. The present invention improves the flexibility and swiftness for security monitoring and early fire alarming, and the accuracy in alarming.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supervisory camera utilizing power line communication for transmitting the state of a supervisory area during a power failure to a master unit after the power is restored even when power supply is interrupted due to the power failure.
      SOLUTION: A power supervisory section 152 detects interruption of AC power from a power line and switches an operating power supply in a camera to power of a secondary battery 162. A control section 17 sets the entire camera control to a power failure mode. A video section 11 is controlled to sequentially image one still picture by each prescribed time and stores the imaged still picture in a data storage section 13. A voice section 12 stops sound collection operation and the control section 17 stops communication with the master unit. When the AC power from the power line is restored, the section 152 switches the operating power supply to the power of the power line. When knowing the restoration of the power supply, a user utilizing the master unit instructs the supervisory camera to read image information having been stored during the power failure and supervises the state while the AC power was interrupted by tracing back the past state.
