    • A transducer for determining the level of liquid within a container includes a mounting head adapted for connection to the container and a sensor assembly adapted to extend into the container. A housing of the sensor assembly has a hollow interior that is isolated from liquid within the container. A plurality of sensor elements are located within the interior. A float rod is pivotally connected to the housing and a float is connected to a distal end of the float rod. An actuator located outside the housing is operatively associated with the float rod for pivotal movement therewith. The actuator is operative to change an electrical state of at least one of the sensor elements to thereby indicate a level condition of the liquid within the container. A snap-fit assembly of the mounting head and sensor assembly is also disclosed.

    • A power adapter includes a power converter circuit, a direct current (DC) plug and a magnetic switch. The power converter circuit converts power signals of a power source into DC power signals. The DC plug is engageable with a jack of a powered device, and transmits the DC power signals to the powered device. The DC plug includes a magnetic force conducting wire to conduct magnetic force of a magnetic element when the powered device is powered. The magnetic switch, connected between the power source and the power converter circuit, is turned on or off according to if the magnetic force conducting wire conducts the magnetic force or not so as to control the power source to provide power to the power converter circuit.

    • A power adapter includes a power converter circuit, a direct current (DC) plug and a magnetic switch. The power converter circuit converts power signals of a power source into DC power signals.     • A magnetically actuated apparatus, which enlarges, extends and makes continuous magnetic fields used by magnetically controlled devices, such as a magnetic reed switch for use in physical security monitoring systems is shown. Apparatus includes a sensor and a magnetic actuator for use with a movable closure member. The sensor is mounted into to a fixed support member that is arranged for displacement relative to a second movable support member. The sensor has a pair of contacts that are connectable to an electronic circuit. The contacts form a switch that is actuated by the magnetic actuator. The magnetic actuator comprises a unique elongated magnet with specific polarity or a plurality of aligned, alike permanent magnets that are mountable to the second support member. The aligned magnets have like magnetic fields that align one another and combine to form an effective magnetic actuation field that has a given magnitude and a given direction that is greater that the magnitude and direction than any one of the magnets. The elongated magnet has a specific pole for a given distance as its controlling means. The effective magnetic actuation field increases the distance in which the movable support member is displaceable relative to the fixed support member without changing the electric condition of the sensor. The present invention creates a magnetic apparatus, having a wider and controllable gap and break point distance not found in the present art.

    • A trigger device includes a retaining frame, a swing arm, a toggle switch, a resilient member and a touch component. An end of the swing arm is connected to the middle of the retaining frame, and another end of the swing arm is connected to a magnetic sensor, and an end of the toggle switch is pivotally connected to the top of the retaining frame. The swing arm forms a pressing rod disposed on the toggle switch and pressed for swinging the swing arm. The retaining frame and swing arm are connected to the resilient member, and the touch component is mounted into the retaining frame and installed at another end of the toggle switch. An elastic button is installed between the touch component and the toggle switch for pressing the toggle switch.     • A bidirectional shock sensor is constructed from a reed switch positioned between two shock sensing magnets. Each magnet is an annular ring which travels parallel to the reed switch reeds on a shaft spaced in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the reed switch. A spring pre-loads a first magnet against a first stop. A second spring pre-loads a second magnet against a second stop. The direction of travel of the first and second magnets is opposite and the first and second stops are positioned at opposite ends and on opposite sides of the reed switch. The magnets and the shafts on which they travel are positioned on identical housings which are arranged as mirror images with the reed switch positioned therebetween.
