    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an entire time required for processing contents in a lidded drum. SOLUTION: The apparatus for automatically opening/closing a drum lid has a hand unit (HU) for automatically opening/closing and holding the lid of the lidded drum (can) and a fixed robot for automatically moving the HU, wherein the HU and the robot can be automatically mounted/detached. The method for processing the drum contents comprises a step of placing the lidded can on a lid opening station for opening the lid using the apparatus, and separating the lid from the can for causing the HU to hold it; a step of processing the contents of the can with its lid separated and carrying to a lid closing station for closing the can lid; a step of separating the HU holding the lid from the robot for carrying to the lid closing station; and a step of coupling the carried HU with the robot at the lid closing station, closing the can with the lid held by the HU by means of the HU, and canceling the holding of the lid by the HU.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap removing/fitting apparatus capable of surely and extremely easily removing/fitting a cap before and after filling by a simple constitution in filling a liquid agent or the like into a bag. SOLUTION: The cap removing/fitting apparatus has a bifurcate engaging part 2a to be engaged and inserted from both sides into an annular channel part of the outer periphery of a bag opening, and is equipped with a bag opening holding frame 2 for holding under an upward condition at a filling position, an operating lever 3 which is pivoted on a filling machine M side and can be swung in the vertical and horizontal directions, and a cap holding frame 4 provided in the middle part of the operating lever 3 and fitting and holding a cap 6 with a collar from the side. For filling with a context, by holding the cap with the collar of an empty bag on the bag opening holding frame 2, and by displacing the operating lever 3 to a cap fitting position, the cap with the collar is inserted into the cap holding frame 4, and by displacing the operating lever 3 to a cap releasing position, the cap is separated from the bag opening, and then, the operating lever 3 is displaced to a waiting-for position during filling.
