摘要： The invention relates to a process for preparing finely particulate hexagonal Me2Y ferrites of the general formula M2Me2Fe12O22, in which M is barium, strontium, calcium and/or lead, and Me is divalent manganese, copper, iron, cobalt, nickel, zinc, magnesium and/or equimolar amounts of lithium and trivalent iron, by reacting an aqueous solution or suspension of an M salt, an aqueous solution or suspension of an Me salt and an aqueous solution of an iron(III) salt with an aqueous sodium carbonate solution, drying the resulting mixed precipitate, heating the dry salt mixture to a temperature of from 800 DEG C to 1050 DEG C, and then isolating the platelet-shaped (bladed) Me2Y ferrite formed in the process from the Me2Y ferrite/sodium salt mixture by leaching with water.

摘要： 1436135 Acicular zinc cobalt ferrite RCA CORPORATION 5 Sept 1973 [7 Sept 1972] 41693/73 Heading C1J A ferrite comprises magnetic acicular iron oxide particles containing 1-20 mol per cent colbalt oxide, 1-20 mol per cent zinc oxide and 4-22 wt. per cent divalent iron wherein the mol per cent of ZnO is at least equal to that of the cobalt oxide. It may be made by admixing aqueous solutions of a cobalt salt and a zinc salt, adding NH 3 , adding acicular iron oxide particles, stirring vigorously and heating to evaporate NH 3 , filtering or centrifuging, drying, crushing and firing (e.g. at 225-320‹ C.) in a reducing atmosphere (e.g. H 2 or H 2 admixed with an inert gas such as N 2 or He). Magnetic tape can be made by admixing the ferrite with a non- magnetic binder, applying to a substrate, orientating particles with a magnetic field and curing.

摘要： 1396124 Magnetic memory structure KYOTO CERAMIC KK 22 June 1972 [25 June 1971 17 July 1971 19 July 1971] 29230/72 Heading C1J [Also in Division B2] A magnetic memory structure comprises a ceramic substrate (e.g. alumina, zirconia, mullite and spinel ceramics) having formed thereon a polycrystalline and self adherent spinel type ferrite film of formula where x is from - 0À2 to 0À3. Less than 0À2 mol. of Co may be replaced by at least one of Cu, Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zn, Cd, Mn and Ni. The film may contain at least one of Li 2 O, SiO 2 , TiO 2 , GeO 2 , ZrO 2 , SnO 2 , HfO 2 , V 2 O 5 , Nb 2 O 5 , Ta 2 O 5 , MoO 3 and WO 3 in an amount less than 1% by weight. The film may also contain less than 5% by weight of at least one of B 2 O 3 , Al 2 O 3 , Sc 2 O 3 , Ga 2 O 3 , Y 2 O 3 , In 2 O 3 , (lanthanide) 2 - O 3 , Tl 2 O 3 , As 2 O 3 , Sb 2 O 3 , Bi 2 O 3 and Cr 2 O 3 . The structure may be manufactured by forming on the substrate a coating of an aqueous mixture containing dissolved iron and cobalt salts, heattreating the coated substrate to decompose the salts to their oxides, to sinter the oxide coated substrate and to produce ferrite. In the examples the oxide film is built up by repetition of the sequence of coating, drying and heating. Film compositions in the examples Co include; Co, Zn; Co, Cd; Co, Ba; and Co, Sr ferrites and some of these compositions containing one or more of MoO 3 , ZrO 2 , V 2 O 5 , Nb 2 O 5 , Y 2 O 3 , Sb 2 O 3 , Cr 2 O 3 and SnO 2 .
