    • PURPOSE:To effectively perform heating pattern control without causing deterioration in productivity and remodeling of equipment, reduce a fuel and improve coke quality by dividing carbonization chambers into plural operation units in the order of arrangement thereof and performing pushing/charging of each unit under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:Carbonization chambers and combustion chambers of a horizontal type coke oven are alternately arranged and divided into plural operation units in the order of arrangement of the carbonization chambers. The operation order of pushing/charging of the respective carbonization chambers in each operation unit is performed while keeping the interval of the number of carbonization chambers due to positional shift of a ram and leveler of a pusher so that the shift of elapsed time of carbonization of the adjacent carbonization chambers may be minimized as the average of the aforementioned operation unit and the dispersion thereof may be also minimized. The pushing/charging operations of the next operation unit are then carried out.

    • PURPOSE:To follow the temperature change in coal accurately and to improve the quality of produced coke by coating frame bodies which will be burnt out by the temperature rise during carbonization with a heat insulating material, providing a plurality of thermocouples to the frame bodies, and inserting them into a carbonizing chamber of a coke oven. CONSTITUTION:Frame bodies 5 which are smaller than the inside section of a carbonizing chamber 1 are assembled using woods, heat-resistant plastics, etc., outside the chamber 1. The frame bodies 5 are each provided with a plurality of thermocouples 6, and compensating lead wires 7 of the frame bodies 5 and the thermocouples 6 are coated with a heat insulating material such as slag wool, a heat-resistant sheet, etc. The assembled frame bodies 5 at the outside are transported to the extruding side and the delivery side of the carbonizing chamber 1, and at least one of the frame bodies 5 is arranged in the carbonizing chamber 1 by manual pushing or an extruder or an exclusive jig. Coal is thrown from charging ports 2 and filled into all the space. Then, temperature rise for carbonization is carried out and the temperature in the coal during the carbonization of the charged coals is detected by a recorder 8.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the titled equipment of reduced cost while keeping the performance, having such mechanisms that the coal in a carbonizing chamber is heated by feeding a high-temperature combustion gas into the heating chamber of a heat storage chamber-free coke oven followed by exhausting the resultant gas, part of which is circulated to the heating chamber, the rest being used for preheating fuel gas, etc. CONSTITUTION:A high-temperature combustion gas is fed from a generator 15, via a channel 22 into the heating chambers in a heat storage chamber-free coke oven 1 with said heating chambers 2 and carbonizing chambers 3 alternately arranged to heat the coal in the chambers 3 through partition walls 5, the resultant combustion gas with reduced temperature being collected to exhaust through a vent 23. Next, part of the low-temperature combustion gas is circulated together with the high- temperature combustion gas, using a high-temperature blower 25 provided on the vent 23, into the chambers 2, whereas the rest of the low-temperature gas is subjected to a high-temperature recuperator 27 provided on another vent downstream from the circulation branch to preheat, through heat exchange, a fuel gas to be fed to the generator 15 and an air for combustion, thus producing coke in high efficiency.
