摘要： The hydraulic siphon has pneumatic reflux, being incorporated in a w.c. flush system, and being designed to operate in a header tank at any level above an entry to a discharge pipe, i.e. the height is not critical to function. a hollow cylindrical housing (12) may be connected to an air pump (P) having a bell shaped based (10) which fits into an enlarged socket (13) to the discharge pipe (6) and accommodating a plunger of a triple co-axial tube construction. The inner tube (9) is open top and bottom and extends into the discharge pipe, the intermediate tube (15) having a closed top and an oblique base, and the outer tube (14) being closed at the base only. A baffled airway (A, B) is thus, provided between the discharge pipe and the top (D) of the housing, the outer tube supporting a float (14a) and the inner tube traversing an elastic membrane valve (8) located over the entry to the discharge pipe.

摘要： 1339490 Flushing cisterns FORDHAM PRESSINGS Ltd 18 Aug 1972 [17 Sept 1971] 43392/71 Heading E1C A flushing cistern assembly comprises a siphon 15 having a long leg 16 secured to the floor 13 of the cistern 10 and a short leg 17 including a housing 23 for a vertically ascending piston 24, a first stand pipe 26 secured to the floor 13 and having an integrally formed bracket 37 at its upper end the outer end of which has an aperture 47 which is engaged over a stud 48 on the crown 18 of the siphon, a lever 39 pivoted, by a boss 40 having pivot pins 41, in recesses 42 formed in the lever 39 on opposite sides of a slot 38 through which the lever passes, a link 43 connecting one end of the lever to the piston rod 25, an operating cable or chain 45 passing through the stand pipe 26 from the opposite end of the lever to a foot pedal (not shown) or other manually operable device, a second stand pipe 37 secured to the floor 13 providing a water inlet and having a float-operated valve (not shown) at its upper end, and a steadying plate 29 which is apertured to receive the first stand pipe and has a recess 31a to receive the second stand pipe, the steadying plate fitting closely against at least the front and rear walls 11, 12 of the cistern and preferably also against the adjacent side wall 14, to locate, in conjunction with the bracket 37, the upper ends of the stand pipe assembly. The plate 29 has a collar 32 by which it is secured to the stand pipe 26.

摘要： 1282011 Flushing cysterns ARMITAGE WARE Ltd 21 May 1970 [25 April 1969] 21215/69 Heading E1C In a flushing cystern for a w.c. of the kind wherein a plunger-actuating shaft 1 is rotated by a handle 7, the rotation of the shaft is limited in both directions by providing on the shaft a bush having a flange 10, a portion of which is cut away to provide abutment surfaces 11, 12 adapted to co-operate with fixed abutment surfaces on a projecting stop 14 on the cystern wall. The bush passes through an aperture 6 in the cystern wall to provide a bearing for one end of the shaft 1, the other end of the shaft being similarly received in a bush 8 formed integrally with the handle 7 and being journalled in a corresponding aperture in an opposite wall of the cystern. The bushes are secured to the shaft by split pins passed through aligned transverse bores in the bushes and shaft.

摘要： 1278822 Flushing cisterns FORDHAM PRESSINGS Ltd 18 Feb 1970 [15 Feb 1969] 8326/69 Heading E1C A device for use with siphonic cisterns, and in particular trough-like cisterns having a number of siphons therein, has means thereon for locating a siphon in the cistern and a bracket portion which forms, or receives, a fulcrum for a siphon operating lever. In the embodiment described, the device 25 forms a cap for the siphon and has a flange 32 with mutually stepped portions 33 and 34 and upper and lower ribs 37 and 35 respectively. The upper ribs 37 are apertured to receive a pivot pin or stubs on the lever 24, and the lower ribs locate the device against a flange 41 of the cistern, to which the device is bolted via an aperture 36. An upper tubular spigot 28 allows the device to be connected to a metering device.
