摘要： A camera will capture the soil sample and use image processing to determine the NPK and pH level content if the soil. Inside the project is a power bank and a microprocessor that is connected into a 7-inch LCD screen. After capturing the image, the microprocessor will then process the image by its color, texture and brightness. After processing the images, the NPK result will be displayed on the LCD screen. Determining the NPK content and pH of the soil is essential for the farmers before planting. These nutrients will be the ones to help the plants grow healthy and to produce quality crops. Lack of fertilizers on the soil before the planting may result to plant diseases or even death. In order to determine the amount of fertilizers needed by the soil, a camera system will be used. Then will display the required amount of fertilizer needed by the soil. There is an existing way in determining the NPK content and pH level of the soil which is available at the Bureau of Soils and Water Management which is called Soil Test Kit (STK). The Soil Test Kit used reagents to determine the level of nutrients. Using the STK usually takes about 30-45 minutes and there are remote areas that were not provided with reagents.
