摘要： A surface-mountable electric strike having a keeper arranged to pivot about a first shaft extending in a longitudinal direction; a lock lever for locking the keeper in a door-locking position, the lock lever being arranged to pivot about a second shaft extending in a direction that is transverse to the longitudinal direction and parallel to the backside of the strike; and an actuation mechanism for actuating the lock lever, the actuation mechanism comprising an electromagnet that is situated next to the lock lever in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the backside of the strike thereby enabling the electromagnet to act directly upon the lock lever providing a simple construction. Moreover, the orientation of the second shaft enables arranging the lock lever, and the electromagnet, above and/or underneath the keeper, thereby reducing the total depth of the strike.

摘要： The present disclosure provides methods for immortalizing precursor cells that are non-terminally differentiated cells such as stem cells, the methods comprising culturing the precursor cells in the presence of a Notch 1 agonist, Notch 2 agonist or Notch 1 agonist and Notch 2 agonist (and, in particular embodiments, one or more growth factors) that support the proliferation but not differentiation of the non-terminally differentiated cells. The present disclosure further provides methods to induce the differentiation of immortalized cells, comprising growing the cells in the presence of a Notch 1 agonist, Notch 2 agonist or Notch 1 agonist and Notch 2 agonist and at least one growth factor which supports the differentiation of the cell into a more specialized cell type. The immortalized and/or differentiated cells of the disclosure can be used to repopulate cell populations that have been diminished, for example as a result of infection or exposure to certain drugs. The disclosure further provides a cell culture comprising a population of non-terminally differentiated cells immortalized by the methods of the present disclosure and kits comprising reagents that promote the immortalization of precursor cells.

摘要： A controller to regulate a power converter includes a terminal that receives an enable signal including enable events representative of an output of the power converter. A drive circuit generates a drive signal to control switching of a power switch to control an energy transfer from an input to an output of the power converter. The drive circuit turns on the power switch when an enable event is received in the enable signal. A current limit threshold generator is coupled to the drive circuit to generate a threshold signal. The threshold signal increases in response to the power switch turning off and subsequently decreases. The threshold signal and a time between consecutive enable events are used to modulate the drive signal to regulate the output of the power converter.
