The shelf panel (22) is selectively insertable into or removable from the rear support channel (52) by temporarily deflecting the rear support channel (52) relative to the horizontal plane a sufficient amount to separate the rear support channel (52) from a rear edge (28) of the shelf panel (22).

The method further includes detecting the clogging condition of the filter by detecting a deviation thereof (203). A current position of the wash cycle being executed may then be determined (204). Finally, the method includes resuming operation of the dishwasher at a wash cycle position based on the current position of the wash cycle if the clogging condition has been removed (207).
