    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a deformed wire of accurate dimensions by a simple method and to reduce the kinds of dies by fixing a wire having proper shape to a part of a drawing die hole in drawing the deformed wire. CONSTITUTION:First, a wire is drawn by using dies having respectively hole shapes as shown by A, B in the same manner as a conventional drawing. Next, the wire is drawn along the axial direction of a die 3 after inserting a wire 5 having semicircular corss section into a hole 4 of the die 3 having the hole shape as shown by C. Next at the final stage, the rod is drawn after inserting a wire 6 having approximately circular cross section into a die hole having the hole shape as shown by D, then a shaped rod 2 having prescribed shape is formed.
