The pages may be bound to the folder using adhesive, string, staples or other attachment mechanisms. The folder may fit within a traditional file drawer.

摘要： A retainer sleeve for storing one or more records, paper files, CDs, DVDs, planar objects, electronic disc media which is enclosed on three sides to form a pocket (j) having an array of removable tabs (b) that extend beyond the edges of the sleeve (h) to aid in indexing, identifying and retrieving the sleeve. The sides of the pocket are adhered with an adhesive or heat weld whose body substrate is made of either plastic, vinyl, synthetic resin, a pressed material or, preferably, paper pulp. The tabs are formed from the same substrate as the body sleeve container and extend beyond the edges of the pocket. The tabs make this invention unique, inasmuch as these tabs can be used for archiving, indexing, referencing and retrieving when the desired sleeve and contents thereof are referenced. These tabs have an ink receiving surface which can be scribed upon to identify the sleeve and contents.

摘要： The folder with holes for insertion in a file is especially suitable as a presentation folder. It consists of one basic member or two of them (10, 12), of cardboard, for example, linked by a fold (14), with flaps (16-22) bordering it on several sides via folds. At least one of these flaps is a pocket flap (16-22) bordering one narrow side of the basic member (10, 12) with at least one perforated closing lug (26) projecting parallel to the narrow side. With the pocket flap (16-22) closed, the lug is to be inserted into a slot (24) extending along the long side of the basic member (10, 12). The amount of material required and the manufacturing costs are minimal for a folder retaining the papers in it on all sides. Further advantages are the multiple uses to which it may be put and the flexibility of the locking system.
