摘要： A process for preparing an anti-static film comprising incorporating a conductivity inducing material into a polymeric film. The conductivity inducing material is a non-volatile metal salt. The polymeric film is selected from polyurethane, polyolefins, polyvinyl chloride, nitrile rubber, polyisoprene, hydrogenated block copolymers, styrene-isoprene-styrene/styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymers, styrene butadiene latexes, and natural rubber latex. Anti-static films and gloves prepared from such process are also disclosed.

摘要： Olefin polymer compositions comprise an antistatic agent of formula R(OCHR1CH2)nOCH2COOH where R is an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic radical of 1 to 20 C atoms or an aliphatic-aromatic radical of 1 to 20 C atoms in the aliphatic part, R1 is hydrogen or methyl and n is 1 to 40. Specified polymers are polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene/propylene copolymers, and copolymers of one or more olefins with other comonomers. The compositions may be in the form of films, fibres or other shaped articles, and examples describe compositions of polyethylene and polypropylene and antistatic agents in which R1 is hydrogen and R is derived from commercial lauryl alcohol, oleyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, nonylphenol, ethyl alcohol, hexyl alcohol and mixtures of lauryl and myristyl alcohols.ALSO:Articles such as films made of olefin polymer compositions may be rendered antistatic by applying to the surfaces thereof an antistatic agent of formula R(OCHR1CH2)n OCH2COOH where R is an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic radical having up to 20 carbon atoms or an aliphatic aromatic radical having up to 20 carbon atoms in the aliphatic part, R1 is hydrogen or methyl and n is 1 to 40. Specified polymers are polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene/propylene copolymers, and copolymers of one or more olefins with other monomers. Exemplified antistatic agents are those in which R1 is hydrogen and R is derived from commercial lauryl alcohol, oleyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, nonylphenol, ethyl alcohol, hexyl alcohol and mixtures of lauryl and myristyl alcohol.

摘要： The present invention relates to the use of diglycerol esters to increase the flowability of impact-modified polycarbonate-containing compositions, without adverse effect on mechanical and thermal properties. Melt viscosities and melt volume flow rates are improved. In comparison with conventional flow improvers moreover smaller quantities of diglycerol esters are sufficient to achieve the desired flow improvement.
