    • The invention relates to a novel method for producing holograms that can be reconstructed with a very flat angle of incidence of the reference beam. All standard methods of holography can still be used during the production process, the inventive method enabling both reflection and transmission holograms to be produced. The production process requires a specific adapter block in which the recording medium can be inserted in such a way that it is rotated about a small angle towards the outer sides. The adapter block is filled with an index matching liquid. The modification of the internal angle during the recording leads to an essentially larger modification of the external angle required for the reconstruction, and the holograms are thus described as reduced-angle holograms. Reduced-angle holograms enable a flat, encapsulated arrangement of the light source and the hologram during the reconstruction. The invention also relates to suitable structures for the reconstruction of reduced-angle reflection and transmission holograms, especially devices for increasing the light efficiency, for reducing the emerging reference beam, for the seamless juxtaposition of the reconstruction device or the illumination devices, and for animating the represented contents or for the targeted switching between different holograms by multiplexing. The invention further relates to the use of the inventive method in association with at least one imaging system for creating a dynamic three-dimensional display, and the assembly of a holographically sequential illumination system for the automated production of reduced-angle holograms with contents that can be reproduced arbitrarily.
