摘要： A method to obfuscate the accurate detection of demographic information of a new user who provides ratings to a digital content service having a recommender system includes training an inference engine to detect the 5 demographic information. The training set includes movie ratings and demographic information from a plurality of other users. The new user inputs ratings, such as movie ratings, and the inference engine determines the demographic information of the new user. An obfuscation engine then adds movie ratings to the recommender system which cause an inference engine in the recommender system to fail to accurately detect the demographic information of the new user.

摘要： Techniques described herein may be used to solve a stochastic problem by dividing the stochastic problem into multiple fragments. In some cases, each fragment may be related to a random variable that forms a part of the problem, such that each fragment may produce samples from a probability distribution for that variable. Each fragment of the stochastic problem may then be assigned to a configurable circuit to solve the stochastic fragment. Configurable circuits may be implemented using any suitable combination of hardware and/or software, including using stochastic circuitry. In some embodiments, stochastic circuitry may include a stochastic tile and/or a stochastic memory.

The method comprises submitting a list of observation inputs to the decision support tool and producing a recommendation. The list of inputs is then reordered according to an observation metric. The method further comprises quantifying how each input impacts the probability of the recommendation produced. The inputs may then be ranked by comparing the associated changes in probability of the recommendation produced.

摘要： A diagnostic system for model governance is presented. The diagnostic system includes an auto-encoder to monitor model suitability for both supervised and unsupervised models. When applied to unsupervised models, the diagnostic system can provide a reliable indication on model degradation and recommendation on model rebuild. When applied to supervised models, the diagnostic system can determine the most appropriate model for the client based on a reconstruction error of a trained auto-encoder for each associated model. An auto-encoder can determine outliers among subpopulations of consumers, as well as support model go-live inspections.
