    • The present invention is a water damage prevention system that has a residential or industrial/commercial facility water supply interruption system. The system is comprised of a remotely controllable base station with shut-off/on mechanism that is in wireless or wired communication with a convenient controller. The base station with shut-off/on mechanism is interposed within a water line from a water main to the living or operating quarters portion of a residential or a industrial/commercial facility or building, such that activation of the base station with shut-off/on valve operates to prevent flow of water from the water main to the living quarters when the residential home or industrial/commercial facility or building is vacated or unsupervised. In this manner, damage to the living quarters or the industrial/commercial facility or building from failure of water pipes running through the living or working quarters is prevented during times that the shut-off mechanism is activated.

    • The present invention provides a sanitary automatic water leakage detection and shut-off apparatus installed between a water controlling unit and a water outgoing unit and comprising a water controller, an accumulating unit and a detecting unit; wherein the water controlling unit comprises an inlet, an outlet and a solenoid valve. The solenoid valve is a normally-open solenoid valve capable of closing the outlet to stop water from going out. The accumulating unit is mounted between the water controlling unit and the water outgoing unit and comprises an accumulating hole adjacent to a bottom thereof. The detecting unit is installed on the accumulating unit and electrically connected to the solenoid valve. The detecting unit activates the solenoid valve via an electronic communication method based on a leakage status of the accumulating unit to shut off the water outlet of the water controlling unit and to stop water supply thereof immediately.

    • Systems and methods for monitoring and controlling water consumption in a water-based system are disclosed using one or more sensors for generating signals indicative of the operation thereof. One or more interface modules are provided as breaker circuits for receiving the generated signals, and a fluid control device is operable for limiting the water consumption. A motherboard receives the interface modules and provides communication therebetween for information processing. Signals from the various sensors are supplied to a controller, which provides signals to status indicators, and also operates to provide alarm signals via network interfaces to remote locations. In an alternate embodiment, a water monitoring system is designed to shut off the water supply to the water device and to shut off either the electrical supply or the gas supply to the heating unit of the water device in response to sensing a malfunction through one or more sensed parameters.

The water leakage prevention device according to one embodiment of the present invention is installed in the flow path of running tap water to a water purifier, and comprises: a running water inlet connected to the water supply source; a running water outlet connected to the water purifier; an upper casing unit having a channel connecting the running water inlet to the running water outlet; a lower casing unit attached to the bottom of the upper casing unit and having a compressed body which expands with absorption of water leaking from the water purifier via the lower casing unit; and a plunger check valve which alternatively opens and closes the running water channel and prevents discharge of water through the running water outlet by closing said channel when absorption of leakage expands said compressed body.
