摘要： A spring loaded latch mechanism for controlling tilting movement of a seat back relative to a seat frame to which it is pivoted, includes an elongated rod having one toothed face and only one end connected to the seat, a latch frame connected to the seat and supporting the other end of the rod for reciprocation therewithin, a pawl adapted to releasably engage the teeth, a manually-operated handle, and a cam interconnecting the handle and the pawl to drive the pawl into and from engagement. In one embodiment similar latch mechanisms are provided, one on each side of the seat with the mechanism opposite to the handle being a slave having a free-floating cam plate and a lever plate driven by the operator, actuation of the slave cam plate resulting from the lever plate being rotated thereagainst independently of the master latch mechanism on the handle side.

摘要： PURPOSE: To facilitate installation and removal of a seat squab frame by connecting a seat cushion frame and the seat squab frame together by a hinge means aligned with a tilt axis, in such a manner that the seat squab frame is tiltable relative to the seat cushion frame about the tilt axis. CONSTITUTION: A journal member 10 rigidly coupled with and fastened to a seat squab frame 2 projects outward from at least one free end 9 of the side edges 6 of the seat squab frame 2. The journal member 10 is aligned with a tilt axis 4. A journal support member 11 aligned with the tilt axis 4 and projecting into a seat cushion frame 3 is provided at the rear free end 8 of the seat cushion frame 3 facing the journal member 10. The journal 10 and the journal support 11 are removably connected together in such a manner that the seat squab frame 2 can be tilted.

And this cam surface is supported movable by the roller 37 on the side of the base frame 12. The seat cushion 13 is powered so as to usually face the rear edge of the seat.
