CONSTITUTION: To a socket main body 1, a pair of a terminal plate 10 and a lead wire 9 are inserted in the far depth of a releasing part 4. To an electric bulb supporting body 2. an electric bulb 3 is installed in the recessed part 14. A prism part 13 at the tip of the electric bulb supporting body 2 is inserted in a square cylinder part 8 through a circular cylinder part 7 of the releasing part 4 of the socket main body 1. A circular column part 12 of the electric bulb supporting body 2 is fitted in the circular cylinder part 7 of the socket main body 1. The outer circumference of a circular column part 12 of the electric bulb supporting body 2 is made to be a tapered face 50 having gradually widened diameter toward one end side from the other end side in an axial direction of the socket main body. Consequently, when the electric bulb supporting body 2 is fitted in the socket main body 1, both the supporting body and the socket main bode are firmly attached each other. A large number of projected strips are formed in the outer face of the circular column part of the electrode supporting body 2 to prevent rotation of the body 2 on the socket.
