The throttle body may be used to replace mechanical or hydraulically controlled carburetors with electronic fuel injection. The bores or barrels (140, 142) of the throttle body may comprise one or more stackable fuel injectors (1170-1173). The fuel component cover (132) may include a regulator (134) with a housing (131) formed integrally with the fuel component cover or alternatively, a regulator may be located remotely.

In one embodiment, a liquid reservoir system may capture and retain a fuel reservoir to provide an un-interrupted fuel supply to a fuel pump or pickup line during low fuel conditions such as those that may be experienced during vehicle acceleration, braking or side to side maneuvers. It may also capture and retain a fuel reservoir to provide an un-interrupted fuel supply to a fuel pump or other pickup line during periods of high agitation such as may be experienced during vehicle jumping, cross country / closed course racing and other aggressive driving maneuvers.

In a preferred embodiment, the air valve includes an inlet port and an outlet port connected to an engine via an air intake manifold, such that re-circulated exhaust gas is introduced into the air intake manifold.

摘要： Systems and methods for installing and sealing a fuel pump in a fuel tank are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system for installing and sealing a fuel pump in a fuel tank may include (1) a fuel tank with an opening in a surface thereof; and (2) a fuel pump hanger assembly, the fuel pump hanger assembly comprising; (a) a plurality of assembly screws; (b) a plurality of clamping lugs configured to thread onto the plurality of assembly screws and engage an inside surface of the fuel tank; (c) a top plate further comprising; (i) a bearing surface configured to engage an external fuel tank surface; (ii) a plurality of through holes proximate the perimeter of the top plate and perpendicular to the bearing surface; (iii) a plurality of bosses, each of the plurality of bosses adjacent to each through hole, configured to guide and position the each clamping lug; and (d) a gasket positioned between the top plate and the fuel tank.

摘要： A fuel injector adapter for providing nitrous oxide to an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The nozzle (100) has a central fuel injector passage (214) that terminates at a first outlet end (204). Fuel from a fuel injector (102) may be passed through the central fuel injector passage. The nozzle also has an inner annular passage (214). The inner annular passage terminates at a second outlet end (304). The nozzle (100) also has an outer annular passage (414) arranged circumferentially around the inner annular passage (314) that terminates at a third outlet end (404). One or both of the inner (314) and outer (414) annular passages is adapted to pass nitrous oxide through it. The nozzle (100) is adapted to fit between a fuel injector (102) and an engine without substantial modification to the engine.
