    • Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus for cross-subframe co-channel interference (CCI) mitigation in a Time Division Duplex (TDD) system. The method may comprise: identifying a cluster-edge user equipment from user equipments in a cluster comprising at least one cell, based on information about large-scale fading for channels allocated to the user equipments; and allocating resource to the cluster-edge user equipment so that at least one of flexible subframes in uplink/downlink (UL/DL) configuration is disabled, so as to mitigate the CCI. Besides, in some embodiments of the present disclosure, it may further perform an adaptive cell clustering based on mutual coupling loss (MCL) with a dynamically adjusted MCL threshold, so as to improve the clustering and in turn further mitigate the CCI. With the embodiments of the present disclosure, the CCI may be mitigated substantially, and it may benefit from improved cell-average cell-edge performances and enhanced capability in adapting to the asymmetric traffic variations.

    • Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses for channel estimation and feedback in a three dimensional multiple input multiple output (3D-MIMO) system. A method may comprise: transmitting a plurality of reference signals for a plurality of columns in an antenna array; receiving indication information on configuration adjustment of a precoding information feedback, wherein the indication information is based on measurement on the plurality of reference signals; and adjusting a configuration of the precoding information feedback based on the indication information so that a multiple vertical precoding information feedback is enabled when it can obtain a performance gain. Especially, the multiple vertical precoding information feedback may represent feeding back a plurality of vertical precoding matrix indicators for the plurality of columns in the antenna array. In embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a new solution for channel estimation and feedback in a 3D-MIMO system, and it may achieve a more accurate beamforming and/or a higher order spatial multiplexing, thereby improving the performance of the 3D-MIMO system.

    • The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for frequency reuse in a relaying communication system and a network node therefor. The method may comprise dividing, for access link transmission, system bandwidth into at least three frequency bands; and selecting, from the at least three frequency bands, one frequency band for base stations in all cells, the other frequency bands being reused by relay nodes in the cells, with a frequency reuse factor of at least two. Additionally, in backhaul link transmission, it may use a different frequency reuse scheme. In example scheme, the relay nodes are considered as cell edge users and the system bandwidth may be divided into at least another three frequency bands, one of which is selected for serving relay nodes in a cell such that frequency bands for serving relay nodes are orthogonal between two neighboring cells, the others of which is for serving the macrocell users in the cell. With embodiments of the present invention, interference experienced by users, especially cell edge users, might be reduced greatly and thus their performance will be improved. Additionally, the solution as provided in the present invention has a very low complexity and the signaling design may be compatible with the current LTE standard.
